Another day is here to rejoice in the Lord and press on with diligence in hope!
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;Romans 12:11-12
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.2 Peter 3:14
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;1 Peter 1:13
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;Hebrews 12:14-15
Praise God for the hope we have in His Son! Let us follow after Him in truth. So many are following after false signs and wonders and man made doctrines and traditions rather than walking by faith and in the truth of the Word. It's true that so many people have the written word of God in front of them and if they won't hear that then they're not likely to listen to us speaking it either. Reminds me of this...
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Luke 16:27-31
May we keep loving and living the truth and being ready to share the hope we have in meekness and fear for we want none to perish. We must keep on guard ourselves and take heed lest we fall. The Lord help us. We are children of light not of darkness.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:1 Peter 2:9
