Hello sisters!
I can drop in briefly on a busy day I had. The Lord sustains us each day doesn't He. Our times are in His hands. I hope you are pressing on with joy and zeal in the Lord. Even when we feel tired physically, thinking on the Lord and all His goodness and what our Saviour pressed through to do for our salvation is encouraging!
There's just so much fakeness in this world that it's good when things are true and mean exactly what they say. God's word is of course but we also are to speak the truth.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.Matthew 5:37
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.Ephesians 4:25
But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.James 5:12
He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Proverbs 12:17-22
Yes we love and live the truth. Jesus is the truth. His Word is truth. Yes this world is so fake but one day our Lord will put everything in its place.
I had better go now and keep finishing up my day here. I hope all your duties are going along well, but we can only do so much right, sisters. Sometimes things are bigger than we can manage but let us do our best and practice being content and thankful and also setting our affections on things above.
