Hello sisters!
Today is here! Yesterday is gone and we don't know if the Lord will have tomorrow for us, so we want to always be ready and right with the Lord. We want to ponder the path of our feet and examine ourselves to see where we are.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.Hebrews 3:14-15
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.Psalm 119:59-60
The Lord help us to keep being faithful in a faithless and perverse generation. We must be strong but all things are possible with the Lord! We must stay close to Him and He will to us.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.James 4:8-10
Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.Acts 11:23
Yes we have choices to make each day of whom we will serve, the Lord or ourselves basically. Our God is good to serve and follow. Our flesh leads to death.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:5-9
May we all keep making the right choices for the Lord and may He help to guide us back if we don't. He is merciful!
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
