Today's Edification (23 February 2026)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you're strong in faith on this day!

The Lord is our refuge! We are blessed to have Him to go through life with! It must be frightening not having Him and knowing Him. We know how this world began and we know how it will end. We know what God thought good to tell us, though we don't know or understand exactly how it will all be. It is all in His power and timing. He is in control and nothing is impossible with Him. But the lost world doesn't know all this or comes up with what they think and they do not have hope in Christ unless they repent. That is always the hope that they will repent but let us keep trusting in our wonderful Lord and God and keep His ways which are good!
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psalm 46:1-3

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Psalm 9:9-10

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
Psalm 142:4-7

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:2

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
Psalm 59:16-17

Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
Psalm 57:1

Let us cleave to the Lord, sisters. Outside of Him is nothing but vanity and hopelessness and despair and darkness and death. But He is life and light and hope and joy and our Saviour who loved us and so much more.

May we be on guard and vigilant as we have been warned. It is wisdom to heed this and fear God also.

May we women keep going in the life and duties the Lord has laid out for us and called us in. Let's not grow weary in any good thing. Be strong and of good courage, sisters! Love to you in His name.
