Hello sisters!
Hopefully you're holding fast in the faith wherever you are. So few want the full truth though and it is sad when someone turns back to the pollutions of the world or into false doctrine. It can be a very gradual thing too, so let us be on guard ourselves. May we humbly press on, knowing we do not know everything, but are doing our best to please Him and keeping ourselves pure for Him. We seek truth in the Word not in the opinions or teachings of man.
Those who are His holy ones are members of the body of Christ which is as a chaste virgin for Him. There are many things that may defile us (as Jesus said in Mark 7:20-23). But may we seek to do always those things that please Him and be on guard for dangers.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 1:25-27
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.1 John 3:3
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.Ephesians 5:25-27
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 19:7-9
God teaches us many spiritual truths from physical things and this is one that is good to ponder on and keep in memory of who we are. We know we cannot serve two masters either. We cannot be friends of the world and pleasing God. We cannot partake of darkness and still be light. We must choose whom we will serve and that is in many choices ongoing. May we be careful who and what we associate and fellowship with. There is a place from withdrawing from people too especially those who claim to believe but their doctrine and actions don't match, and especially if they are actively trying to deceive (though they will likely call it truth).
Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:...And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.Ephesians 5:7-8,11
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.1 Corinthians 10:21
Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.1 Timothy 5:22
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.2 John 1:10-11
God is good to have shown us all this truth! May we heed it diligently for His glory. Hold fast sisters. May we act and repent if we know something doesn't please Him. Mercy, love and peace unto you in Jesus' name. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.Revelation 18:4
