Hello sisters!
God is good on this day of His mercies towards us! I am starting writing this in the early morning. The birds are singing as it starts to get light. There are fresh damp morning smells which are refreshing! There is something extra beautiful about the mornings, and the evenings are nice too! Glory to God that we can see and appreciate these good things in life. Surely...
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Psalm 103:10-14
He is good and so we hope in Him.
I went on a little morning walk and it was really beautiful with the sun shining through a small patch of fog. Glory to God!
All these things that so many overlook (and we can too as we go about life busily), are God's wonderful creations, witnesseses of Him right in front of everyone's eyes. But they believe the lie that it made itself over time. Indeed the blindness is very great. But the Lord opens blind eyes! He knows the hearts of all and who will be willing to see and follow.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Romans 12:1-3
Yes we are the sacrifice today. We are not our own but are the temple of the Spirit. And we bear the fruits of the Spirit also.
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.Ephesians 5:9-10
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Galatians 5:22-23
So keep pressing on after the truth, sisters! So much in life doesn't matter but this does. We don't want to gain anything and lose our own soul. No, we're not responsible for others as we can't change their hearts directly but we can pray and be a light and share truth when we can, but all will give account of themselves. And of course we do not want to stumble anyone as that is serious indeed, so let us be careful to never lead anyone astray. May we be lights in this dark world. The Word is truth and people can go find it all in there if they have willing seeking hearts!
