Greetings sisters!
A new day is here to serve Him! In Him we can always have joy for He is our peace and hope and life itself!
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
I'm sharing some encouragement for us women to continue in the doctrine that is sound for us.
That is that we be chaste, good, discreet, sober, keepers at home, and being obedient, submissive, and loving to husbands (for those whom it may apply).
We are to be adorning ourselves with good works, not externally with things on our bodies, and also have meek and quiet spirits as per the word that is written.
Of course there are all the other areas for us as well which begins with believing in our Saviour, loving our God and fearing Him. And that we love all and are merciful, forgiving, kind, long suffering, patient and more.
We set our affections on things above and do not want to get ensnared by the cares of this world and the love of money. We are to freely give many things and serve others. In it all we seek first His kingdom and righteousness.
There's just a lot written for all of us in the Word to guide us through this present evil world.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.2 Timothy 3:16-17
It is such a blessing to know the way and what pleases Him. So let us keep pondering our paths and making needed corrections as we go through life and any trials it may bring.
Hold fast sisters! Love to you in His name. I hope and pray we remain faithful unto death and can be with our Lord in a pure place for all eternity.
