Today's Edification (9 October 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Each new day we have hope...

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:14-18

Our Lord has been so good to mankind. As that above scripture mentions this account...

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Numbers 21:9

Indeed it is our Saviour's death on the stake for us by which we can live. There is no other way. And we know it is by faith and faith without works is dead. It is an active and alive faith that saves us. It has evidence though we cannot see faith itself. It produces the fruit of the Spirit and all good works for those who have faith are born of God.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:26

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1 John 5:1

So let us press on in faith and love! The Lord helping us day by day.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:7-11

We indeed have much to do in response to our Lord's wonderful offer of salvation through His Son! May we strive on faithfully after Him and His ways. To God be the glory forever and ever!
