Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.Psalm 97:10-12
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.Proverbs 8:13
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.Romans 12:9
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
Yes let us rejoice in that which is good and abhor all evil. The Lord help us to discern in those things that aren't as obvious. But so much is so clear as His Word tells us precisely. How blessed we are to have it!
And we want to have the Lord's mind on what is evil and what is good and not switch it around like happens today.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!Isaiah 5:20
