Today's Edification (20 September 2025)

Hello sisters!

Here I am dropping in again with some encouragement for us all to keep running our race with patience! We need a lot of that, and endurance and long suffering and such like. But we must in order to be saved in the end. We will not reap if we faint in the faith. Let us take heed to the warnings given that we could fall away even in the very last hour of our lives. That would be so tragic so let us fight on. He is so worthy!

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 10:35-36

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
1 Corinthians 9:24

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:3

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Revelation 21:7

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Hebrews 12:1-3

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-13

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:5

Those are so encouraging! And there's so much more in His Word like that. Our God is so good and has given us all we need to endure if only we will lay hold of it and fight on! Let's remember our spiritual armour and use it!

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Colossians 1:10-14

That is precious! Glory to God!

And I am so thankful that our Lord is not a respecter of persons too as all will give account to Him and be judged equally, Jews and Gentiles.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 2:7-11

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Acts 10:34-35

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:11-13

So keep pressing on in hope sisters! May the Lord give us strength and peace and joy to continue to do His will in a faithless and dark time. Hold fast where you are sisters! My love to you in Christ Jesus our Lord and Master.
