Hello again sisters!
Back again to share some edifying in the Lord with you! He is King and in Him we live and move and have our being. Let us be serving this great King with joy and faithfulness! How blessed we are to be His daughters and even have the life we have and the hope to come in His glorious kingdom!
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.Romans 8:18
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:5-12
It is good to ponder how God's grace, love, and mercy works along with how we are to walk worthy of Him, being acceptable and pleasing to Him. It's good to ponder His election along with how we will be judged according to our works. There is no room in scripture for continuing in that which we know to be sin either. God does not do everything for us nor cover willful ongoing sin. We must always repent to find His forgiveness. But how thankful we are for His favour on us as once we were without God and hope in this world. So let us not receive the grace of God in vain but fight the good fight of faith and labour to be accepted of Him in peace on that great judgement day. May we all be preparing for that time. All this on this earth is temporary and fading away but there are eternal things that the wise make arrangements for.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2 Peter 3:11-15
Let us press on in all the Lord has given us to be faithful in! We have specific commands as women too! God is good to us and hasn't left us to grope through life on our own. How thankful we are! Love to you sisters. Lord willing I will share again tomorrow. Strive on steadfastly!
