I'm dropping in again with some of His Word to edify! I have had a busy day but there's always His Word to share!
I was just thinking of how we have been told there's going to be much deception and falling away. So I share some scriptures here to remind us of this truth. Let us be so aware of this and be careful, testing all things and people to the Word of truth. We shall be judged to the Word.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
Acts 20:28-31
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;1 Timothy 4:1
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;2 Thessalonians 2:3
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;2 Timothy 3:13-14
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.Titus 1:10-11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.Matthew 24:11-12
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.Matthew 7:22-23
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 Timothy 3:1
Yes let us beware and take heed as we also have been told.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.Colossians 2:8
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.Philippians 3:2
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.1 Corinthians 10:12
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.1 Timothy 4:16
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.Hebrews 3:12-13
Lots of admonition for us. Let us be wise and hear them. Hold fast sisters and strive on! Love to you in the Lord.
