Greetings sisters!
Here is another day to love the Lord our God first and foremost!
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Matthew 22:36-40
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.Psalm 97:10
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.John 14:21
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Matthew 6:33
Yes let us seek after the Lord our God and eternal life above all! And this will cause us to live very different lives to those who are not loving Him first. I know He deserves more love than we can ever give and of course we cannot ever pay for our sins but still He deserves so much love and commands it of us as well. We know how we love Him is to obey Him diligently and fully and with zeal! But He first loved us! Yes He did in sending Christ and not destroying us when we sinned. He made a way for us to escape His wrath on unbelief and sin. Let us flee to our Saviour who is our refuge!
I have had a busy day cleaning so will go and get some rest. Let us rest in Christ for our salvation for it is He who has made our way and let us follow Him! Love to you in His name.
