Hello sisters in Christ!
Here's another day to live for the One who loved us and gave Himself for us! I hope you are all following after our Saviour! He has the words of eternal life and there is no where else to go but to Him!
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
John 6:66-69
Let us cleave to Him with purpose of heart through these perilous times of much deception and darkness.
I was pondering God knowing His own all around the world. We don't know who they all are but it is a comfort that He does.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.John 10:14
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?Galatians 4:9
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.2 Timothy 2:19
Indeed He knows all our works too...
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.Revelation 2:2-3
And if we know Him we keep His word...
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3-6
For it cannot be with words only but our actions...
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.Titus 1:16
For by works all shall be known...
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:20-23
And all we do comes from our heart and we know we need a new one, changed by the Lord. It is what we do that defiles us or not. This world doesn't defile us for we walk through all the evil and see and hear it yet it is not defiling us. But we keep ourselves from evil to be pure and undefiled before the Lord.
And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.Mark 7:20-23
For we want to be pure as He is pure.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.1 John 3:3
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.Matthew 5:8
So let us keep our heart with all diligence.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.Proverbs 4:23
Let us hold fast to the Word of truth in this evil day, sisters. This world is coming to an end so let us keep patiently waiting for His coming and be ready to be found in peace of Him on that day.
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.Jude 1:2
