Let that be us...fixed...and stedfast in the Lord!

I love that scripture. May all we do be focused on His glory. We can study the scriptures to see what glorifies Him! I hope you find that my blog is glorifying to Him in all sorts of good pure and true ways.

Let us keep looking to our Saviour for our perfect Example...

Obedient unto death. Christ was that for us...He obeyed the Father. Let us also say His will be done and be obedient unto death. Reminds me of this scripture too...
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

I know I keep saying it...but I see more and more how perilous the times actually are and how wicked mankind is in general. Let us fight hard to stay on the narrow road following after our Saviour who is the good Shepherd leading His own sheep! We see many promises for those who overcome in Revelation...means there's much to overcome.
I know the internet can be a great blessing...but it can also be the opposite too. Let us use it so wisely and for His glory being very careful with it as it can be a powerful tool and if misused can be deadly.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
Psalm 56:8
That verse got me pondering about the books God has.
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation 21:27
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:12
But that's His business.

Sometimes I have a lot of words to say in here...other times I am more silent with grief or astounded at how perilous the times are. Hold so fast to Christ and His truth and ways sisters.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Matthew 18:6-7
Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Just pondering on the whole subject of offending/stumbling others. Serious matters.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

And I wanted to read some scriptures on pure. Sometimes you just need a break from this impure world and focus on that which is pure.
You do that too sisters...and who is the purest...but our Saviour Himself!
But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Hebrews 7:24-26
Keep pressing on sisters! Be ready to stand before Him.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
