Salutations to my sisters in the Lord!
I hope you are pressing on no matter what! Let's remember the lovingkindness of the Lord every morning!
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.Psalm 143:8
Proverbs 5 & 6 to start the day...
And some scriptures on meekness...
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Romans 2:3
I really want to keep that in my heart and mind and examine all I do. Not that that means you will never be misunderstood but we can only do our best...as unto Him and not unto men! And the Lord knoweth all things! I rest in that...and do what I can. I do not claim to be perfect or fully mature in the faith but I seriously am trying my best and trying to make the best decisions in all the hundreds of one's you have to make daily. Sure I might decide against something I did sometimes and think I could have done it differently but don't we all do that all the time and you just keep going cuz you can't let anything or anyone discourage you too much. But I do not know of any willful sin that I am in, no. I seriously want to do what's right always.
I was pondering on what this scripture says about 'let no man despise thee'. Sounds like a command to me. Does that mean we have a choice of whether we allow people to do that to us? Good to ponder.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Titus 2:15
So I share some more scriptures on despise. And we don't want to do that to others. We sure should despise sin though.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 4:8
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Romans 14:3
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
Luke 18:9
Yay got all the headcoverings sewn! And zero sewing machine issues too and those of you who sew can understand what a blessing that can be especially when you're busy! Praise God! Got my shop stocked up again. Thankful for being able to. There's much to be thankful for no matter what!
I can't begin to pick all the hundreds and thousands of cherry tomatoes there are this year! They just came up themselves all over so are extra blessings. And it can be a slow job and I don't have the time so you can't worry about such things...it's just something small compared to what really matters! I'd let you sisters pick all you want if I could though!
I wanted to share some older pictures of the beautiful creations (from Canada) for God's glory! And some scriptures too!
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psalm 28:7
All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
Psalm 145:10
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.Psalm 33:1
And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.Psalm 89:5
For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.Psalm 96:4
Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.Psalm 113:2-3
And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
Psalm 72:19
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.Psalm 106:48
He is worthy to be praised that's for sure! He is good. I always rest in that...and it's good to remember through all we have to go through.
Although people who you think were living the truth let you down on some things, what you must not then do is equate their actions with what the sound doctrine actually is and reject both. No you have to keep the sound doctrine but just know it wasn't being lived or applied correctly. I am not about to get soft on sin or go into the ditch of easy believing. No, God's Word is clear that sin leads to death. And we even see this scripture...
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 4:16
We must remain in sound doctrine and truth to be saved as Jesus is the Truth and the Way and the Life!
I am not spiritually uniting with my earthly family. But some are naturally concerned about what the ministry I left has shamefully done and I want them to know how that is just inconsistent with sound doctrine and not a fault of the true ways of Christ at all! We all need to be careful sisters as our actions can terribly mar the way of truth to which it will be evil spoken of. Hold the true way of Christ as precious, sisters! And we are to do our best to represent it but please don't look to humans anyone...not to me and not to anyone else as we all will fail. Look to the Word and to Christ!
When we come across such situations which leave you so completely confused...just hold on and keep walking as you don't want to overcorrect but keep testing to the scriptures as usual! So onwards I go, looking to the Lord, dealing with whatever I need to learn and grow in, enduring any trials, and holding fast to sound doctrine through it all. Christ is worthy sisters! Let's not let satan steal things from us!
And I would love to receive and reconcile with any one who lied against me or speaks evil or seems to despise me...if they repent. I will gladly give a truly humble repentant woman (who sinned against me) and who asks for forgiveness, a big hug, and forgive her with joy and reconcile! That's what's in my heart, just at the door, but you can't if people continue in their evil ways. I'd do this....
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Luke 15:20
True repentance and humility in someone is such a gift...but a very rare one! I do also forgive if they don't repent as that is between them and God as any sin is against Him not humans alone but there is a part to the reconciling that you can't really complete if the other party doesn't do their part. And you just leave it in God's hands and make it clear you're here if anyone wants to humble themselves and truly repent. And you keep marching on even if it's hard to leave people you loved behind cuz you still care about them but they're being so confusing and wrong. You do have to shut the door at some point to stop the confusion and discouragement and ugliness. And even if they don't understand you (since they're on the other side of the world) and if they speak about to the whole world what they don't even know about you as if it's fact (which is what I would call bearing false witness? at the very least it's sloppy and foolish) you still love them. I'm not mad at anyone (can have some righteous anger sometimes) but just grieved for God's glory and that things have to be this way among those who claim Christ. It's a terrible witness for Him. And it's sad how much confidential information gets posted about you and others that the nosy eyes of the wicked world who already hates the truth and who love to hear some juicy gossip and some 'new thing' told and who rejoice when saints stumble, should not ever be seeing. How can you ever trust people who do that? You cannot. I will not post here such details about any woman I have ever known or communicated with. You can trust that. We all make mistakes that we think better of and we all sin at times and repent in great sorrow, and to have these dug up (and badly twisted) is just so crushing and so discouraging when you already know you aren't perfect but you're trying hard. I can only think that our loving Lord could bring any kind of good out of such things. I trust He will. And I forgive my enemies (and former brothers and sister) for doing this to me. And I pray it not be laid to their charge.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Acts 7:59-60
Just so you know, my justification for leaving that ministry I shared about has been completely validified. I asked well meaning concerns and questions (because I am in no place to rebuke) so they knew clearly why I was separating and gave them occasion to give an answer (and to see their error) and horrendous unjustified personal attacks have happened in return so there is no chance for reuniting until a major change of heart takes place if it does. I pray God it does for their good and God's glory and others good too. God deserves so much better. Only He can change the human heart by His Spirit. So I have to move on from that chapter of my life. Only God knows the future and He is there for His own, few though they be. Times you just have to put your hand to the plough and not look back! Of course you care for the souls back there but there's absolutely nothing you can do but pray and put them in the Lord's hands. That I will do. And He sees all and I rest that He will be the perfect and completely just Judge. He saw everything. He be praised! (Hopefully that's the last I say about that situation although there's so much deep pondering going on that I'm sure many thoughts might keep coming. So I won't say never but you have to say enough is enough and move on for God's glory. And I want to keep my blog a God glorifying place of good pure and true things and there is a place for private communication and not putting everything out into the public. Though I am not communicating with that ministry unless they repent of much. The last email I sent them was one of blessing those who do you wrong. I told them I was here if they were ever thirsty or hungry or needed clothing. My hands are clean. The Lord do the rest and I march on!)
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
3 John 1:9-11
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
2 Timothy 4:14-17
I love this scripture...
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Hebrews 6:17-19
Many things stand out but the 'immutability of His counsel' and that it is impossible for Him to lie. And I love pondering strong consolation! And fleeing for refuge! And an anchor for the soul...sure and stedfast! Lots of good things to ponder! Praise God!
Lord willing I shall be back after travels to the children's tomorrow. Let's see what each day brings forth as we get them.
Strive on sister soldiers!
Grace, mercy and peace to you in His Holy Name,
Sister Chayil
