Hello to my godly sisters!
Hope all is well in your faith life which means you're striving on! We know we are going to have trials in this life and as His Word says all who live godly shall suffer persecution.
I hope you're not growing weary in well doing (good works) or losing your first love. I hope you're keeping testing all things and getting up and keeping going if you stumble. Keep striving on sisters and I will here too!
I recently was trying to share truth with a woman online and she did not want to hear what the Word said but rather to go on her feelings of what she thought was the guiding of the Spirit. We know don't we sisters that we are not getting new revelation but have the written Word to live by. We cannot just go on what we claim is the Spirit if it does not line up with the Word. I know from my past not to trust those feelings. We see in the Word what the fruit of the Spirit is. If we don't hold the Word in high esteem and as all true then we might as well throw it all away as why would we pick and choose what to follow out of it? Like if we can't believe it all why do we even believe in a heaven or that Jesus is the only way if we believe in Him? It's hard to understand how some people cling tight to some verses and then belittle and ignore others.
And what I don't understand is women (like the one I'm talking about) who dress fully biblical and yet have little to no holy fruit and seem dead and have rotten fruit of worldliness and lewdness in what they post or promote.
Anyway be on guard sisters and if someone's fruit is not godly we can ignore what they say/teach or speak against us and keep loving His Word and obeying it. He is worthy!
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4
It was a beautiful sunny morning...
Titus 2 sharing from my day...
Simple yet great blessings. I haven't tried it before but look forward to seeing how it works!
Cooking the daily bread He provided...I'd feed my sisters if I could!
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
1 Thessalonians 4:11
I appreciate that His Word tells us how to relate to all people. I know so many just rip parts out and try to apply them to situations that are not the correct context. But we want to be diligent to make sure we understand what His Word says and to whom.
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:15
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13
I'm thankful for the guidance of His Word and we sisters don't reject or rebel against it.
Scripture reading to edify...
Thankful for our Saviour and all He did...willing to follow Him no matter what and I know my sisters are too!
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:23
Well I must go now so I hope this was edifying and encouraging to you. Hold fast sisters!
Love in Christ,
Sister Chayil
