Daughters for His Glory

Hello sisters!

Today is the day we have been given. Yesterday is gone and we don't know if we'll get tomorrow. We just have today to deal with really. Yeah the future might make us wonder and we may need to be wise and plan ahead etc but we don't have to worry about it as our Lord told us not to do that didn't He. He told us to seek first God's kingdom and righteousness.

And I sometimes think about Mary and Martha too because we know we are to serve others yet we don't want to become encumbered with it like Martha was. So as in many things it's a balance and we have to use wisdom to work out what that is etc and what our responsibilities are in the lives we each have. Some may get to have full control over how they do things in the home and others may have to work with what they have but we all just have to do the best we can with what we have. And God knows our hearts doesn't He sisters.

Saw this scripture and it's our great hope to come...

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Isaiah 25:8-9

Scripture reading to edify my sisters...

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
2 Thessalonians 3:11-12

We're blessed to have such guidance from His Word in so many areas. Well all areas really...some are directly addressed and others indirectly but we learn to use discernment and wisdom as we grow over the years and do the best we know how.
