Hello sisters!
Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2 John 1:3
I hope you're all overcoming in our Saviour today! We know He is our Rock and even if circumstances around us can be challenging or unknown we can count on Him being stable and a solid source of peace and joy and truth and help and hope! Without Him we are most hopeless!
Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.Deuteronomy 32:3-4
For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.2 Samuel 22:32-33
I was thinking about this scripture...
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Matthew 4:5-7
And how just because someone may bring us scriptures doesn't mean they are well meaning or anything. So we sisters must know the Word of God and remember that...."it is also written". Let's not be deceived by satan or his sneaky workers.
Thank you sister for this scripture...
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.2 Corinthians 5:9
This is a great scripture too...
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.Philippians 1:20-24
Well I hope those were encouraging for you! Hold fast sister saints! And I hope your duties as godly women go well today!
