Today's Encouragement (9 April 2022)

Hello again this day sisters!

Hoping you are standing strong in the faith of Christ!

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:13

Praise God for His Word that tells us how to stand strong and trust in Him in all things.

I share a bit of today's apple drying experiment. I got this hanging dryer off of Amazon and am looking forward to putting it to more uses when the conditions are right in the warmer months.

There's still a few warm enough days around so I got to work today drying apples...

I dropped the slices into water with a little bit of salt to prevent browning (half teaspoon to 4 cups of water). But I'm sure you can do it without as well.

God's free sunshine and air working to produce dry fruits that can keep longer. What blessings!

This batch will probably need another day in the sun yet. I've bought it inside to keep it out of the damp night air. But I look forward to seeing how they go in time.

And today we were blessed with more delicious healthy foods in this slow cooked chicken lentil curry.

I hope to post the recipe for it tomorrow. Praise God for good gifts He gives!

So just sharing some simple Titus 2 from my day. And I'm sure all you sisters are doing your own good works as helpers and keepers of the home!

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

1 Peter 2:15-17

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

1 Peter 2:21-25

Great scriptures packed full of truth and encouragement! Let us look again...and again...to our perfect example in Christ! And may we too...love not our lives unto death.

May we all be diligent daily in this life in Christ which affects every part of it! Hold fast to Him sisters! He is coming back as King one day!

Thank you sister for your love in that picture and I send the same to you all! We all share love of one another because God first loved us!

May your day be blessed and peaceful and joyous.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
