Today's Encouragement (8 April 2022)

 

Hello sisters!

I appreciate coming back here to send a little encouragement to you, my holy sisters who are striving on in the lives God has you in. 

Here's some scriptures on looking to what's to come. That's where our focus is (or should be) and not on this earthly life although we have many things to deal with here and we need to as well. 

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hebrews 9:28

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

2 Peter 3:11-14

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:11-14

That's all what we're looking for! The world might think we're crazy but praise God for the truth and that we really have sound minds in Him! 

And yes even as we go about such simple Titus 2 duties.

We're living for the One who is to come and we will get to spend eternity - forever - with Him and all His saints. 

What a blessing to be godly women doing our works in the roles we have. I sent that picture to some sisters and one sent it back with a list of some of the blessings in such a very simple picture. 

Amen sisters we do well to look for such things and praise and magnify the Lord for it all!

Hoping to sell those 3 to a new home soon. 

I found this case that a caterpillar made and lives in and turns into a moth in. Pretty amazing what God created these creatures to do to protect themselves! 

It must have sharp teeth to cut through those sticks and make them the same length! How awesome and glory to God! 

In fact as a sister was sharing about today how all are without excuse to know that there is a Creator. 

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:20

And we sisters believe Him and the Word He has given us and we obey what He tells us to even though we can't 'see' Him directly. 

I marvel at that beautiful colour on these apples... 

What a joy to harvest the blessings God made to grow from the ground... 

And I know you sisters also rejoice in such things and are thankful and content in the life God has for you! He provides for us all one way or another! And we know that if we're lazy we don't deserve to eat but I know my sisters all work hard. And earn the blessing of rest at the end of the day too! 

OK I'm going to go now so I hope your day is a good one in the Lord and I leave you with this scripture... 

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
