Today's Encouragement (13 January 2022)

Good day sisters! 

How are you? I am strong in the Lord. Hope you are too! That's the most important thing...being strong in the faith. And we all have weaknesses and sickness to battle through too at times or often. And so have I been dealing with limitation the last few days due to a really bad back. Even the simplest everyday things we do seem so hard to do then. But then it helps us to realise how very much we can sometimes take forgranted...without meaning to but we just see more clearly how wonderful our body is made to all work together as one. And as I told a sister we see that in the body of Christ too. In fact it say when one member suffer all the members do too. That's the care we are to have one for another. And we can see that in the physical workings of our body how having some kind of illness in one part can have a great affect on the whole. 

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12

I saw this pretty rainbow light pattern on the wall. It's so amazing to think that light is made up of many different colours and they get split. 

And here's a little grasshopper... 

Those are amazing how they have been made to jump so far. We could never get to the bottom of awesome creations on this earth the Lord has made.

As followers and disciples of Christ we know we don't just sit around believing on Him. We have been called to ACTION!! 

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Romans 8:13-14

Today I share a few older scripture pictures which I have probably shared here before but as some sisters and I often talk about how we can forget many things and could do with reminders in our lives. 

Amen cast off the works of darkness we have sisters! And we keep fighting in this battle. For women we don't care about our external appearance and the pride many have in it. We know pride is a work of darkness. And disobedience to God's commands and the specific ones for women is also. 

Instead we all want to be examples of the believers whether young or old. What a high calling we have in Christ Jesus! 

And that shows in all those areas of life...in our words, our actions, our love, our purity, and in our spirit and faith. God doesn't do it all for us! We need to act! And He gives us the power to do it as we draw near to Him! 

Amen...we want to be blameless to the world around us. We sure live in crooked and perverse nations! We put on our armour of light shining it to all those around us in the dark world. 

Yes let us be holy women trusting in the Lord. He will reward everyone according to their deeds. Let's leave that to Him. 

I love that...God is light! 

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:5-7

Well I must go now sisters. Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow to share some more edification and encouragement! Hold fast! 

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
