Some More Edification for a New Day

Good day sisters in the Lord,

I'm back today with a few things to share as edification for you sisters. We know we are to do all things that are good and true and pure. We don't spend our time on things that are useless and time wasting let alone all the entertainment and sinful things of the world. So we fill our lives with good things, the things of God and His Word and ways and what we do as godly women in Titus 2 works. And His creation is good and we give Him all the glory for it.

What a great hope there is for all who seek the truth!

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:7-8

What a great God we have of redemption. Something some of us saints have been talking about...how we are always pointing people to the hope in Christ and obviously they have to know of the coming judgement also. And even in our own lives when we have sadness or think a situation is too bad we need to remember that God is one not willing that any should perish. So we can get up and get moving, not sit and look backwards or focus on bad things. The gospel in Christ is our daily hope. And we each have that to give to others in whatever way we have been called. We know there is much fear, despair, and hopelessness in the lives of people without Christ. But they have the same hope as we do if they want it!

The blessing of a bit of rain falling here today...

Really the simple things are the biggest and most important aren't they sisters. And yet they are some of the most taken for granted things. We don't want to be like that do we sisters. We want to be thankful...in all things, little or much!

I shared a picture of a duckling yesterday. Now there's a little chick hatched too. So sweet!

It's also amazing the differences in the way God designed one for swimming in water and the other not.

You can feel like a mosquito pincushion sometimes this time of year...

Mulberries are almost finished fruiting...

But we never are to stop producing good fruit in our lives are we sisters! No! And how do we do that? Only by abiding in Christ and His love always!

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:4-5

There were some storms around the place today so I sent a picture to a sister. Thankyou for adding the scripture sister...I love that one!

Our God is faithful isn't He!

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

And what great hope we have because of His faithfulness! His promises are true! Being called unto the fellowship of His Son...that is a precious thing indeed also.

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

Psalm 54:4

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Psalm 116:5

So too let us remember that sisters...the greatness of our God, the goodness and severity. We want to abide in His love and goodness don't we sisters! We want that for everyone too but they have to come to Him though His gospel and His ways.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Romans 11:22

Let us continue on in Him sisters! Hold fast!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
