Encouragement for Today

Hello sisters!

I'm back here again with some various thoughts and scriptures that came to me to share with you today. Hope it encourages you too!

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Ephesians 5:13

We love the light don't we sisters.

Isn't it such a comfort to know that God knows all things sisters? Everything. The actions, thoughts, and motives of others (and ours too). He is just and He will deal with everyone according to their works. May ours be found in His ways.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 3:20-21

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Matthew 5:37

Yes we want all our words to have meaning to them and not be idle don't we. As we sisters often remind each other there is so very much to remember and not lose focus on. Of course we have His Word to read daily but it's a blessing to have brethren to bring thoughts up and reminders on many different subjects.

We can let the world go by can't we sisters. We are to set our minds on things above, and on our Lord and Saviour! We can take the gospel to them, and if they don't want it we have other business to do for the Lord. Let them think we are wrong, God knows the truth and we cling to His Word. Let them laugh at us and maybe that might be because the way we dress or that we don't join them in their 'fun'. Let them feel sad for us, and maybe that might be for how we are meek and quiet women in submission to the authority of men. Let them speak against the pure life we strive to live, let us remember it's not against us but the Lord Himself they speak who they will have to face one day. Let them persecute us with their words or deeds, Christ was falsely accused yet opened not His mouth. Christ our Lord was killed...so let us love not our lives unto death.

I love this...

That's great encouragement from our brother Paul! So too we can rejoice today! I know there are people who say they are suffering persecution just when someone in love addresses their sins. But we want to rejoice in persecutions of whatever kind they may be for standing for Christ's truth and not wavering. We have it easy really these days without physical persecution.

We want to be not loving our lives unto death...

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:11

And striving against sin unto blood....

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Hebrews 12:4

This is a fight sisters...against sin and the flesh! Even in our meek and quiet ways we have to stand and can't be pushed over.

A sister has been sharing how she is having trials from an unbelieving woman who works for her in her home and so it was a blessing to share on that and how we can use wisdom and try our best to live in peace while getting through this life. And we can't moralise people because it is the gospel that they need and a changed heart by the Spirit. Only then will they bring forth fruit becoming of a child of God.

Just a simple farm pic from my day....

The Lord is good to bless us all with various good foods!

Thank you sisters for sharing from the Word. Part of loving God is loving His Word and certainly obeying it isn't it. His Word is truth no matter what man says.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 Peter 5:8

Amen...let's hold fast to the end!

Lord willing I shall be coming to you again tomorrow with some kind of edification. Stand strong sisters in the truth and life of holiness. Our God is holy! Don't let anyone tell you He's ok with sin today because of Jesus' blood. Let us truly have faith and believe all He is and if we truly believe then we will produce good fruits!

I leave you with this scripture to ponder...

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 3:17-18

Glory to God for His pure ways!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
