Loving the Light

Greetings sisters!

It looks like I have another moment and day to write to you sisters and edify you in the things of God! Hope you are all going well and looking to Christ and growing and overcoming. There is always so much to ponder and learn from scripture and experience and in making sure we always have the right focus and thoughts on all this life in Christ.

I wanted to share some scriptures on light! We love the light don't we sisters! We love to walk in the light and come to it.

We know we can only get our light from the source amen sisters! He is the light! So I hope these scriptures can uplift you in such a precious subject. I encourage you to do your own word search on this subject but I share a fraction of the verses here to edify and encourage us.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:5

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Matthew 4:16

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

John 12:46

What a great Saviour we have! We have much light and truth given to us sisters. So let us walk worthy and with the fruits of being in the light.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

1 John 2:8

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Romans 13:12

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

Luke 12:35

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Ephesians 5:8

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1 Peter 2:9

And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 22:5

Amen sisters, praise God for the light! We are called to walk in His light!

And not be like this...

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:20

And it also reminds me about how in the body of Christ there should be openness and sharing and honesty.

The opposite of light is darkness isn't it sisters. And we want no part with it as it is of the devil.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Ephesians 5:11

So what a pure and good thing to think about sisters...LIGHT! God is light! That's uplifting just thinking about it all...so pure and holy. And we are called to walk in His light as children of light!

And thank you again sister for these pictures for us...

Praise God for sending His Son, sisters!

Oh sisters...isn't that precious...to be known of God?

We do NOT want to hear this from God "I never knew you"...

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Let us hear and do, sisters, and build upon the Rock! He is the Truth! Let us tear down all false ways and sin out of our lives and walk in light and truth!

OK sisters! Time for me to go. Praise God for what we are able to get done in a day. Learning to manage our time for the Lord is something we all have to work on each day. Remembering what we should do first and trusting the Lord to lead and guide us in wisdom. It's important to redeem the time amen sisters?! And do that which is worthwhile and good and godly for us as daughters of the Highest. And one of those things for me is writing to you all here. And I'm also blessed to communicate via other methods of technology with several of you. Strive on each of you!!!

Until tomorrow (Lord willing)...

Love in Christ,

...from one of God's daughters
