Good day sisters!
I'm popping in with a post for our new day on this earth. One day soon this life will be over and either you won't be reading it or I won't be writing!
If we were faithful and endured to the end we shall be with the Father and that's much better than reading my blog post! Although it's the Lord's will that we're here right now and so we do what is good and godly. Edifying and encouraging one another on in the things of God!
This is a well used verse...
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28
It says all things. Everything in our lives if we love Him...not just the trials. So we know He has us here for a reason. May we give Him glory by our lives.
As a sister said to me today, even if we were sick in bed and couldn't do much our minds, our hearts, and our thoughts are set on Christ and we are separate from the world which is an honour and glory to our Lord. So to remember that in our simple serving duties we have as godly women.
I share a few pictures from today...
I had a busy and fruitful day today. I also had to go to the post office so I saw these trees and stopped to take some pictures. They were amazing (especially since there aren't many such trees around.)
And a little spider...
His creatures and creations fill the earth!
And I saw this little old train 🚂 in the town. I hadn't seen it there before.
And I was taking a walk on the property and saw this bush covered in flowers.
It's an interesting one.
We can find simple things in His creation to marvel at and give Him glory!
"Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant."
Psalm 111:1-5
And a simple meal I cooked...
Just as all you Titus 2 women are doing either for a husband or children or yourself or for others. We are richly blessed with such good food and abundance of it.
I leave with this picture a sister sent me today...
So I hope that blessed you sisters! Simple things for a simple life in Christ.
"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:22-23
Love and peace to you,
...from a daughter of God
