My Days, Deadly Sin, & Judging

Greetings in Christ, sisters!

And love to you all in our merciful Saviour!

And I don't know why blog post titles are hard but I know that's a bit of a strange title and I quite like my generic ones but anyway it's roughly right!

I have a few pics and videos to share from my two days here since I got back home.

"And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them."

Isaiah 42:16

Peaceful flower creations....

Chicks grown up more:-)

There's something extra funny and cute about the grey chick:-)

"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."
Isaiah 40:11

And fabric washed and drying for my next sewing projects.

And tonight's tea ingredients...

Which turned into this...a lentil curry.

Moving on...

I was just thinking about the fact that most take sin so very lightly. Yes when you think about what happened when Eve first sinned it is very great indeed. And think of all the animals slaughtered because of sin too, millions and even billions I suppose though I do not know of course! And God had to send His only Son to make atonement for sin. And praise God the cleansing through His blood is available for all who will repent and follow after Him.

"A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."
Galatians 5:9

People are afraid of everything else aren't they...but not what really matters it seems. We know they are blinded and deceived as we ourselves once were but we pray some will hear and repent.

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."

Titus 3:3-8

Amen and praise God for the new birth we can each have. Let us then be careful to maintain good works.

May we sisters cultivate the fear of God.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Matthew 10:28

And let us resist temptations that come to us...as sin leads to death.

"Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
James 1:15

May we desire this....

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139:23-24

And I was also thinking about everyone who says "don't judge" and then thinking of the fact that I want to be judged according to the Word of God.

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

John 7:24

Praise God for saints that love each other and desire to be walking in all of God's ways and seeking to be judged by God's Word.

"For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person."
1 Corinthians 5:12-13

Let us search our hearts and obey all the ways God has for us as godly women.

"For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world."

1 Corinthians 11:31-32

Yes, as women, and for a few areas often ignored, we are commanded to wear a headcovering and be meek and quiet and submissive and wear a long dress like garment and not adorn ourselves in makeup and jewelry. To not do so is sinful and we cannot take that lightly like most do. I pray that none of you reading this are in those sins. I am here to encourage you to overcome and obey the Lord while you have time. Repent of those sins.

This one is amazing to ponder...

"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."
Luke 15:10

And as sisters striving to be holy, we judge and test according to God's Word, first ourselves lest we be hypocrites and then we can help others to see the ways of a godly woman and encourage them to not take any sin lightly. Many women think it doesn't matter about covering and dress. But God added His way in that area into the scriptures and so we can't pretend it isn't important for our daily lives as believers.

Let us fear Him sisters! So just to say that it is perhaps the most loving thing in the world for someone to tell someone where their sin will lead them.

Like this...

"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."

James 5:19-20

Praise God though that we can have peace with Him if we come His ways and obey Him!

If you are reading this and claim to be born again by the biblical gospel (test yourself to it here) then you will now be seeking to obey the Lord's commands in all your ways. If in these areas for godly women (and all areas) you are not fully obedient I pray you will seek to obey immediately lest you be hardened. Remember that we cannot continue in disobedience and expect to be forgiven. (Read Hebrews 10 about wilful sin.)

But praise God if we repent of our sins and strive to be holy and perfect having been born by His Spirit He will forgive our sins. What a merciful Saviour He is to us unworthy creatures!

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9

Until next time....

Love in Christ,
