Greetings another day sisters!

How was/is today for you sisters?

Amen let us do that sisters! Remember where our treasures are our hearts will be. I'm glad for the freedom from many man made ways and traditions and sins! Glory to God and so let us lay up treasures above and set our affections there. One day we will get to be there with the Father if we each endure. Press on sister saints!

So I'm back again today with a simple post to edify you. Praise the Lord He let's us live another day for His glory to serve Him. Let us not grow weary in well doing sisters!! We will reap one day if we don't faint!

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Colossians 3:23-24

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Psalm 27:1-3

(Titus 2:-)

Praise the Lord for good works us women get to do and serve others. Let us rejoice to do such things!

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:5-10

Amen, so let us labour to be accepted of Him, sisters!

And I share some more pictures from a faithful sister (thankyou sister!)...

Amen let us who are daughters of the most high God be peacemakers and do those things which edify one another.

I hope my simple post for today could edify you sisters. Thankyou to those I know who edify the saints daily! Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 1:3-6

Love to you all!

Hold fast to the truth sisters!

Greetings today sisters!

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2 John 1:3

I have a few bits and pieces to edify us all today. God and Christ are the centre of our lives and so all we do points back to Him and glorifies Him amen sisters. Without Him we are nothing! Glory to Him!

I was reading this the other day and it definitely makes you look at your own life and make sure your aren't complaining even in your heart in the slightest.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

1 Corinthians 10:6-14

We want to be perfect and blameless don't we sisters. Our Lord has done so very much for us we don't want to sin against Him by murmering or being ungrateful or discontent do we.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:14-15

Here's an amazing creation in a grass seed I come across. Look how it's tightly wound into such a shape! I guess it helps it go down into the soil or something. Just another of God's amazing designs on display there!

And a pretty caterpillar on the orange tree (I guess he's eating it though 🙄)...

Tomato seedlings...

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11

And some veggies I picked from the garden....

Praise the Lord for providing and for the amazing creations we get to eat!

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Psalm 65:9-13

Grab a plate sisters!

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:42-47

And here's a few more awesome pretty flowers on the property that I get to appreciate this time of year! Glory to the Creator!

And little lambie is getting bigger (and going to a new home soon)...

Share a treat sisters....

And a few picture gifts and a scripture from a sister which I am grateful for...

Amen how encouraging to know that the brethren are standing strong in the Lord!

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
3 John 1:3-4

I shall leave it there sisters. Hope your day goes well (or went well and your next day goes well:-). Either way I hope you all press on and do not be deceived by the lies that abound or be discouraged!

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:19-20

Are You Faithful in What You Have?

Greetings in Christ sisters!

How are you? The Lord has blessed us with another day...so let us rejoice and be glad in it serving Him faithfully.

Today I thought I would encourage us to think about being faithful in what we have in the life we have been called to.

First of all we know we have a faithful God. We can trust Him sisters!

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:9

And we know we want to and must be faithful to Him.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

1 Corinthians 4:1-2

How about being faithful in what the Lord has in our lives? We all have different lives to live. There are no two the same of course. We are all different in our abilities and gifts but we are to each be faithful in what we have been given to do.

So let's think about a few specific things.

What about being faithful to your keeper at home duties and to the jobs that are yours? These may be greatly varied for each of us but we all know what we need to do.

Some things may be cooking, washing clothes, cleaning, gardening, animal care etc. Each of us may have a few such things or many but either way we ought to be faithful and diligent in whatever they are.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:27

Being faithful to a husband, as a helper, and to look after children (if you have either of them). We know the reason God created woman, so that's a very important one to be faithful at.

We should be faithful to the saints in our lives. If the Lord has blessed us to know of other believers we ought to love them and in ways we can edifying and encouraging, bearing burdens and praying one for another.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;

3 John 1:5

We can be faithful in laboring in the gospel however we can do it in each of our lives. And we can be faithful in being prepared and ready to give an answer. God will use faithful workers for Him.

Of course we are limited with our capabilities because we are human and can't do everything at once but we have to know what our duties are and the most important ones according to God's Word and do them the best we can. And we can rejoice to do them and do them with the right motive. We are to be a shining light to all so the Father is glorified. Especially if we have unbelievers in our lives, we want to be a good witness for Christ. Faithfulness to the brethren is very important too as there is to be great love, care, and unity in the body. Of course faithfulness to the Lord comes first in loving Him first and striving to obey Him but we know nothing in this life is separated from Him and what we do is pleasing to Him and what He commands so we must do it unto Him and in the right spirit. Ultimately being faithful in your cooking to feed others is being faithful to God because women are to be about such business. Let's not forget that sisters. Be faithful in those things that seem 'small' too.

I'm sure you can think of many other specific areas in your life that you are responsible for and should be faithful in. I just thought of some which I briefly wrote about and I want to work on daily faithfulness in my own life to what I should be.

We also should not be discouraged if we do our best and yet that still isn't up to the standards we have made for ourselves. You might have the responsibility to clean the house but you can't be doing it all the time to the neglect of other areas so of course it is all a balance that we all have to work out in each of our lives.

Here's an audio and scripture reading for you to go along with this.

Remember the parable of the talents...some had more and some less but it matters whether we are faithful in what we do have amen sisters.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10

(Read that again, we don't want to be unjust in least do we as it says we are unjust in much then. No let's be faithful sisters.)

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:23

And we may think what we have is small or unimportant but we need to be careful thinking that. We ought to do it faithfully and not necessarily be looking elsewhere lest we be discontent or unfaithful in what we have as our duty.

And here's some pictures gifts from a faithful sister saint who faithfully does what she can to edify the sisters daily. And in between are some scriptures shared from faithful saints who edify each other daily. Ponder them all and give glory to God for the creation.

Praise God for His Word and for being able to share and edify one another with it.

I will go now sisters. I hope to be faithful in blogging daily and if my life changes and I couldn't do it so often I would let you know if I could. We don't know what the future holds for any of us but we have today so let's rejoice in it sisters!

Glory to our God!

Love to you sister saints!

Be faithful!

Scripture Reading and Edification

Greetings sisters!

How did you serve the Lord today? I'm sure you went about your business whether it be Titus 2 works or being a helper to a husband or ministry work for the Lord as we know it is pleasing to Him. We are to mind our own business and work with our hands in that which is good aren't we.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

1 Thessalonians 4:11

We have to always remember what is most important in life and why we are here. We are not our own are we sisters. But we want to be willing vessels, servants of the Lord doing our reasonable service unto Him redeeming the time.

Our life is all about God isn't it sisters. Let's think. He created this whole universe in the beginning. Before that He always existed. Then He made man and then woman. We know how it went that the woman was deceived and disobeyed God. And ever since then mankind has had a deceitful wicked heart that needs to be changed into a heart for God and His ways. And that can be by the new birth being born from above. Praise God sisters, that God sent His Son! It is all about Him who is God. We have the gospel! We can come to the Father through His Son! We have been bought with a great price! Yes this life is all about Him and He deserves all the praise and glory amen sisters.

So even if our days may seem quiet and uneventful or extra busy with little time to stop and think we all must remember the whole picture of things and it isn't to live for ourselves but for Him!!

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

I read you 1 Peter 4. May it bless you sisters!

I was thinking about this scripture today because my family was telling me about earthquakes that happened over here today. And they are not common over here. God shows His power in His creation in many ways but still people don't fear Him do they.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Matthew 24:7-8

We know the time is drawing near the end, and it kind of also makes me excited that Christ will be coming back. Well obviously we are getting closer every day. I know it will be a time of great tribulation and that we aren't to fear but we know it's coming (because the pretrib rapture is a lie). So that just got me thinking about that scripture. These earthquakes happened near a wicked city and where I spent much time last year looking after my little niece and nephew. Thankfully, despite the damage, no one died I think but still I hope people wake up and repent.

Find the bird...

God's creations going about what they ought to and the plants too.

Share a plate of good food sisters!

Praise God for providing and for another day to serve Him and write to you all here.

Ok sisters that's my edification for us all today. It's all about Christ isn't it sisters...our life is meant to be. He is worthy!

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:11

Edification for 21 September

(You can see the moon in that picture too if you look close. Awesome creations doing what they were created for:-)

Well hello sister saints!

How are you? I trust you are striving on in the truth and not allowing the flesh and fear to overcome your joy in Christ. Yes there may be things going on in the world which we don't like, and we don't know about most of it, but we know it's dark! But that shouldn't be surprising should it. We know God told us of dark times with great apostasy and we also know it is no new thing that man is wicked. We know about the Flood, we know about Sodom and Gomorrah and I find this sobering too...

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Luke 13:1-5

There are people who seem 'not so sinful' but unless they repent they too will likewise perish. Let us not be deceived by them or people who claim Christ but have false ways and sins. Let's cling to God's Word as there is only one narrow way isn't there sisters. That is Christ Jesus and His gospel!

I'm so thankful for those in the body of Christ who care for one another daily! We already know the world is filled with empty and vain things. But what a blessing for us to each be seeking after that which is eternal! And to edify and press each other on in that is a real blessing and is worthwhile.

I was thinking about this verse and how it is tied with our loving of others.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Luke 6:31

We want to be humble servants don't we sisters serving the Lord and others.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Romans 13:10

I was studying my way through 1 Corinthians 13 the other day. Praise God for that one. It's good to ponder each point...and see if we are cultivating them all in our lives.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine ; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

1 Chronicles 29:11-13

And a beautiful butterfly I saw today when I was pulling some weeds...

Glory to God for all His creatures and creations! What an almighty Creator He is!

And more beautiful roses...

(the air around them smells beautiful too!)

Dishes washing...

And some good food to share...

Just some simple Titus 2 pics:-) and thankfulness to the Father for food and clothing and so many more blessings we all have!

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1 Timothy 6:6-9

And I share these scripture pictures from a faithful sister...

I love that one! Paul rejoiced to see their stedfast faith and order. And one particular one comes to mind in terms of order of godly women being silent in the gatherings and in their proper order wearing a covering too. It's a joyous thing when God's ways are followed! He is holy...so may we be too!

Right sisters! Let's bring forth good works and good fruits of the Spirit!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

And it also reminds me of this in watching our words...

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

James 3:10-12

Amen sisters...we haven't got to the end yet.

And I'll leave you with this one...

Strive on sisters!

Love to you all!

Sister Michaela
