Daughters for His Glory

Today's Encouragement (11 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

The Lord gave us another day! I hope you're holding fast to truth and overcoming whatever trials are in the day!

The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
Psalm 145:20

I'm glad to know how to love Him. It's not emotional feelings or anything but obedience to the truth. Jesus is the truth!

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:21

Let's keep obeying His commandments in His power! And we obviously have to read and study His Word to know what those are!

Some sewing went on...

And other such Titus 2 duties. I'm thankful to have good works of various kinds to keep occupied in and have a lot of edifying going on amongst us saints.

Strive on sister soldiers! Let us overcome all things! Christ is worthy!

Today's Encouragement (10 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're strong in the Lord today! He granted us another day to choose to serve Him! We want to be His servants don't we sisters!

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
Acts 4:29

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22

Sisters, we don't think serving Christ is a burden do we?! We don't want to displease Him and it is not a bother or a heavy yoke! The world thinks we have no fun but the things they call fun are anything but that to us amen sisters. We are glad to do the Lord's work and joyous to have fellowship in Him with one another. But of course our flesh may not like to be crucified but our spirit rises up and overcomes that and we remember that it's an honour and great blessing to serve Him!

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
Galatians 1:23

I love thinking about that and how God changes people! Nothing is impossible with Him! Lives can be changed 180 degrees!

I'm keeping working on settling in here. When you have your mind set on things above and know that we are strangers and pilgrims here it's not so much about 'where' on the earth you are but about the Lord's work. The world can do what it does and we just have our own labours to do and not get distracted by all the differences from one place to another. And we also do not have partiality and think any one place is better than another and neither do we have patriotism and get entangled in the affairs of this life like politics.

Basically everything is different around me...the houses, the cars, the stores, the birds and animals, and the people even...but we have our labours in the gospel to do and all can come to the Saviour if they repent!

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
Matthew 4:19-20

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:1-2

Praise God for all His creations.

Today's Encouragement (9 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are strong in the Lord on this new day! I'm back sharing again as the Lord allowed me to.

I share a favourite scripture...

By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Hebrews 11:24-27

We have many good examples of those pressing on in faith for the Lord! And that faith always led to action! Their examples are encouraging! We can imitate (follow) their faith...

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 6:12

God granted me a safe trip to my new earthly home...living with a godly family in Canada. Praise God for making a way. I give Him all the glory and am very thankful for the love and support of all the saints I know!

Inching my way across the huge Pacific Ocean...

And I was thinking how incredibly big it is and it felt like being in a wilderness. But we know God is everywhere don't we sisters! Man really is so puny compared to our mighty God who made not only the earth but the whole universe! How can anyone be prideful about themselves when all they can do and have comes from Him! Let that not be named among us.

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

1 Corinthians 4:7

Was exciting to see the first glimpse of a new continent after 13 hours of the ocean...

More beautiful creations God made!

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
Isaiah 45:12

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:18

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Looked really pretty coming down into the clouds...

Praise God for all His creations!

Coming into land in my new city...

Cities are a good place to reach lost souls. The saints I am staying with do just that as we all should in ways we can! The Lord has set us free through the gospel and now we want to give, as freely we have received! We want others to be set free and Jesus said go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature!

Flew my gospel bag signs in the airports...

And each of the 3 planes I flew in got a gospel card in the seat pocket...

Maybe someone will be bored on a long flight and look up the websites and seek truth. It's a blessing to be able to have wifi on flights these days and keep connected with saints - technology that man has put together with the things God already made which we get to use for good and to further His kingdom instead of bad.

Praise God to be with spiritual family with the opportunity to serve and love and grow in the faith in so many ways!

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
1 Corinthians 16:19

"The church (or better original word ekklesia) that is in their house"...that's such a blessing to have in these last days when there's so few saints scattered!

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
1 Timothy 3:15

I love that and that we got told how to behave in the body. We all have our proper roles and we know God is a God of order and not of confusion. His ways always work perfectly! When things go wrong it's when people step outside of His ways.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33

Nice to get to my new room yesterday and find a gift of love from my sisters...

Thank you sisters for your love and care and prayers and godly lives! So blessed to have you in my life!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:17

And you have to be ready to give an answer as soon as you step out the house door. Let's all have our armour on sisters! The Lord will help us!

Well I'll go now and keep settling in here in a new place and culture and time zone. Praise God for directing our ways and let's follow after Him as dear children.

Today's Encouragement (8 September 2023)

Greetings sister soldiers!

I hope you are pressing on stedfastly!

I read 2 psalms for you...

Before a super early flight...

Leaving my past earthly country...

Only God knows the future! He watches over His faithful saints!

Our citizenship is in heaven!

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 3:20

His will be done and we take life one day at a time!

And I'm sharing some older scripture pictures to edify and encourage. His Word is good!

I love all those scriptures! Praise God for the blessing of His written Word!

Today's Encouragement (7 September 2023)

Salutations to my sister saints!

I hope you are stedfastly striving on strong in the Lord!

I'm back sharing again...God had another day for me and for you if you're reading this!

Let us be thankful in all things sisters!

I'm thankful for safe travels to my destination for the night for my early morning flight tomorrow.

When you come from the country and into the city and see the world rushing around, you wonder what everyone is actually doing. We know they are not seeking the kingdom of God first. And we know the Lord Himself will be coming in power and great glory to purge the earth and destroy all those who don't know God or obey the gospel. Let us not be one who will be afraid before Him at His coming but looking for His coming...watching and waiting.

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13:33-37

I don't want to be found spiritually sleeping...but instead working while it's day and being prepared to meet the Lord.

I read a psalm for my sisters...

His Word is always good and I love the part in there about desiring one thing. May the Lord be all we are seeking.

Today's Encouragement (6 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are striving on one more day!

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.
Lamentations 3:40-41

I read a psalm for us sisters today...

Hope it edifies and encourages you in the Lord! He is our strength and joy and peace and hope and rest and so much more.

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7

Today's Encouragement (5 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm blessed to come back here and write to you about the Lord and I'm thankful to be a godly woman. I'm sure my sisters are too!

I love these scriptures...

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Luke 17:10

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

We are just doing our reasonable service and duty! And yeah even if people think we're arrogant for 100% believing and standing on every word of God let us keep doing so unto Him as He is the one we need to deal with and please and give account to.

Next scripture reading...

Let us fear this mighty God who has power over all things and will judge and destroy the earth and the sinners in it one day. There is hope in following after Christ!

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
Jeremiah 7:23-24

That's what we sisters do not want to do. As I keep saying we're blessed to have both good and bad examples in His Word! Let us sisters obey Him and walk in all His ways!

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1 Corinthians 5:7

Amen sisters let's not get complacent with any sin.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
2 Thessalonians 3:14

Let us live by every word of God sisters and not let fleshly feelings get in the way. He is God and we are just mere humans. Let us obey Him with fear and trembling!

I hope all your Titus 2 and other godly woman works go well sisters. Hold fast.

Today's Encouragement (4 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Amen He is worthy to be praised for all eternity! (thankyou sister for the pretty sunrise picture with scripture:-)

I hope you are doing well sister saints and pressing on through all things for the Lord's sake!

I love these...

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

Amen let's be seeking the kingdom so diligently! I do greatly treasure the truth we have! Let's not take that lightly and remember it is something that can be lost if we aren't careful with it.

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 3:11

I'm thankful for His Word...and all He told us. We are blessed!

Well I must go now sisters but I hope you strive on with the Lord no matter what. He is with us even if we may be alone for the Lord as so few truly believe.

Today's Encouragement (3 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are all pressing onwards today! We don't want to stand still and we don't want to go backwards so the only and best way is forwards isn't it!

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14

I hope you are loving the Lord most of all no matter what!

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:3

He is so much more worthy to be loved than anything or anyone on this earth. Let's keep our priorities straight in this sisters.

I must go and keep working away at what the Lord has in front of me. Let's remember we only have this day and not tomorrow yet. Let us do our best for Him in it!

Today's Encouragement (2 September 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

I hope your days are going along well in being godly women! I'm sure you're being thankful to be His daughters and set free from being someone who we weren't supposed to be like we used to be. Everything works when people walk in His ways but it's when someone strays that things go bad.

I've been having some busy days.

Had some headcovering sewing to do for a customer...

And I'm preparing for a life changing move to the other side of the world if the Lord wills. So you'll understand if I'm more brief in my blog posts here until I get settled in or whatever. Only God knows what will be but we just do our best and take it all one day at a time.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15

Hold fast sisters no matter where you are or if you have a quiet or busy life and are doing all you can in His kingdom. Let's remember to be faithful in little!
