Today's Encouragement (9 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're striving on in the Lord today! I'm back again sharing one more day as the Lord allowed. We know our days are numbered but we want to live the ones we have left for the Lord. We cannot change the past now, when we wasted our days in ignorance or rebellion, but we can choose each day going forward whom we will serve...we will serve the Lord amen sisters?! He is worthy!

I had a 3 hour bus trip today.

Was a beautiful and pretty day for it.

Glory to God for that.

Every day is a great and perfect day to serve the Lord and we don't want to ever complain but we know some days are perhaps 'nicer' in the weather area. But we don't get our joy or peace from weather do we sisters! No we get it from the One who is our joy and peace and hope!

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

Evening sunshine on my Titus 2 works...
I'm sure I'll be having a lot of those. And you sisters too. It's a blessing to be godly women submitted to Him!

Next scripture reading here...

I found a quiet spot in His creation to read that on a half hour break on my bus trip. Thankful for His Word again.

I had my gospel bag sharing truth on my trip. One older woman walked up and wanted to see it. But sadly she was set in her ways and defending the churches. But she got the gospel.

She said she liked all it said front and back and wanted me to sew some for her except she didn't want the part about not listening to the churches. No, we sisters follow Jesus who is the truth and not these churches today packed full of lies.

Didn't we get warned that deceivers would enter and Paul warned that as soon as he left corrupt men would come in and draw many away. And we are in the perilous last times and with iniquity abounding and love waxing cold. No we are responsible to stand for truth and not follow churches into hell. I'm glad to know my sisters who have been set free from that trap. Praise God!

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

1 Corinthians 10:15

That reminds me of the men at Berea who tested what Paul was saying to the scriptures. We know we sure ought to test and judge what people say and that is wise to do so.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Acts 17:11

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Thank you sisters for sharing these...

Yes we want to do good and not evil to our fellow man. Vengeance is the Lord's we know.

Our God lives! And He always has and never had a beginning. That's so hard for our minds to grasp and He'll never end. So sad people worshipping dead false gods which really do not exist. Well we know it's satan really.

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.
1 Kings 18:39
I love that what the false god worshippers said when they saw what our God did!

We will gladly bear reproach for Him as we know His people are hated or thought foolish in this world. One day all will bow.

Amen we want that too. He alone is worthy!

I leave you with this one...

Hold fast sisters!

Today's Encouragement (8 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are standing strong in the faith! We know we are absent from the Lord don't we and have to walk by faith! We must have a very strong faith in order to overcome the wicked one and also to obey Him! Think of the faith of Noah in which he obeyed God to build a huge boat to escape God's judgement on the world. That is no small faith. So let us have great faith even if people laugh at us for taking God so seriously.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Hebrews 11:27

I love that description of Moses' faith...enduring as if seeing Him who is invisible. That's right isn't it sisters we so truly believe in Him that we obey Him and because we believe He gave us His Word with commandments that are not burdensome!

Seems to be unending loads of weeds to pull...
But it's satisfying works even if you have to do something over and over again. We have to do that a lot in life anyway. They can contain a lot of repetitious daily activities but good and necessary ones and we want to be thankful for all things.

Dealing with that door lock took 2 and a half hours out of my day with the many issues it brought. But satisfying to endure that and to have it work in the end. Just like our faith too we must endure to the end to be saved. We do not want to give up do we sisters. So many things in this life it's good to keep working at until we're finished if possible. But most importantly to have a mind ready to endure until the end in our faith.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mark 13:13

Next scripture reading for you here...

Praise God to have so much written for us to read and take heed to.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:11-12

Here's some older scripture pictures which are still just as good as ever because His Word is eternal! I'll let them speak for themselves.

His Word is so good!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

We want to be fully furnished unto all good works through His Word don't we sisters! And we know we have godly women's roles to submit to and I'm thankful to know what those are.

Well I must go and Lord willing I have travels tomorrow to go help look after the children with housework etc again. But I'm thankful to be able to keep sharing here. Hold fast sisters and look up as our Saviour and our affections are above and He is coming back!

Today's Encouragement (7 August 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

I hope this finds you striving on forward in the Lord! We don't want to go back or we don't want to stray to the left or the right but press right forward after Him.

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Proverbs 4:26-27

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

John 6:67-69

Spring is coming in His creation here...

But the apricot tree still hasn't lost it's leaves yet...
Must have pretty mild winters here then. But it's still beautiful all the changes that happen in His creation.

Yummy broad beans on the way...

So pretty seeing the sun shine through healthy growing plants..
...producing food for mankind. God is good and merciful to us all.

Gathering blessings for the evening meal...
In other words, going grocery shopping in the garden:-) Good blessings! I'm thankful. And for health and strength to labour in tilling the ground as man has from the beginning.

I'd serve my sisters (and brothers) yummy chicken veggie stew with good garden blessings of potato, cabbage, leek, silverbeet and parsley.

How beautiful...

His creation is good and refreshing in a dark world with so much sin and confusion and chaos in it.

But we sisters want to be pure and peaceful and in order to God's Word.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Let all things be done decently and in order.

1 Corinthians 14:33, 40

Let's all keep seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness sisters! Hold fast!

Today's Encouragement (6 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here's one more day the Lord gave us. He is in control and He reigns! And we get to be His servants! That's an awesome position to be in even though sadly many do not want to be servants to Him as they think it is bondage. But we sisters want to be!

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Romans 6:22

We are free yet servants! Free from sin and servants to God and righteousness!

And I share another awesome scripture I read today...

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Revelation 15:3-4

I love that.

Pretty winter flowers in His peaceful creation.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:1-2

We want to be the branches that bear fruit don't we sisters. Otherwise we will be removed. So many good subjects for us to study in His Word. It would be good to do a whole one on fruit. I also love that He prunes us so we bear more fruit...that is precious and shows His care and we want to submit to that pruning don't we sisters.

Next scripture reading to edify my sisters...

That's the one where Paul says he takes pleasure in trials and weaknesses as God's grace is sufficient for Him. Yes God's grace is precious even though it's one of those things that have been so thoroughly abused in this day that we need to make sure we think biblically on it. That would also be a good personal study subject to do. We know we can receive it in vain and despise it and we know those aren't good things. Let's be careful with all these precious gifts lest God take them away from us.

Well I guess that's pretty much all I have to share. I got some weeding and work done in the garden. Also working on online ministry in finding email addresses to send the gospel to. That's a good ministry for us sisters especially if we don't get out in the world much, there's much online work to be done and that's a great 'mission field' as they say. Yes everyone...whosever...can come to be forgiven and find new life in our almighty Saviour!! But we know they have to give up their lives to follow Him and obey the gospel.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:15

Today's Encouragement (5 August 2023)

Hello sisters!

How's things going in your life where you're standing?! It's encouraging that God has His remnant around the world striving on. And we're all facing things to overcome and work through but He is glorified as we do so.

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Romans 11:2-5

Next scripture reading for your edification on this day...

A lot of good things in there again and warnings for us.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Romans 16:17-18

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2 Timothy 3:13-14

We know there's going to be massive deception don't we sisters. Let's cling to His Word and not added traditions of man that have come along afterwards and void our worship.

Well that's what I have for today. Praise God for all good things and let's cultivate a thankful spirit in all things. We know God hates grumbling and complaining so let's stay away from that as far as possible!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Today's Encouragement (4 August 2023)

Greetings godly sister saints!

God granted us this day to chose whom we will serve! I know my sisters are choosing Him!

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 2:3-6

That describes my true sisters. You're refreshing because you love God and want to obey Him and have pure hearts and work on crucifying the flesh daily and don't make excuses for any sin. That sure is refreshing in such a world as ours. Keep shining your lights sisters!

Many beautiful flowers around here in late winter...

Glory to God for all the creations He made...and they are good and peaceful in a dark world.

Even withered flowers look beautiful...

And the lichen growing on the log is unique...

While the carpet of green does look pretty we take dominion of the earth and rip out the weeds to be able to grow food don't we...
Satisfying work it is. I'm blessed to be able to have a garden to work in.

Sending out the gospel with a sewing order...

I'm thankful for any way to be able to share that precious eternal truth. And I love hearing how my sisters are ready to share it too and they do!

Next scripture reading here..

Some extra scriptures to ponder...

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Philippians 4:5

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

James 5:9

God's word is good and great when lived by! It all works so orderly if everyone obeys it. He is a God of order! Let's keep working on following after His ways sisters! We're so blessed to know the way to walk in and He leads us and gives us strength and helps us stay in the right way. Hold fast sisters!

Today's Encouragement (3 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're standing and stedfast and unmoveable in your faith on this day. We know our labours are not in vain in the Lord!

Beautiful day here God made...

Every day is a good day in the Lord though! Well as long as we are striving on. He is good!

Hopefully a fruitful onion harvest coming up...

But many months to wait yet...so as in many things we need patience. We are waiting for the Lord and so must patiently endure this life for however long He wants us here.

Sometimes before and after pictures can be more encouraging if you don't think you're making any progress on something...

And that can be a bit the same in our lives if we think we haven't grown recently or something, we can remember how far the Lord has brought us! We know we do not stay in our original state when we repent and decide to submit to the Lord and follow Him.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:9
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 6:11
Amen the past is gone and we have been called into marvellous light and made new and clean in Him! And we want to keep growing and learning and maturing and using our senses to discern good and evil.

And leaving our sins and serving a glorious Saviour is not bondage like many sadly think. Having boundaries (like barriers on a highway with steep drop offs) is a necessity to make it safely on the narrow road isn't it sisters? The way is very narrow and few find it. But it's never a burden to serve the one true and living God! Doesn't mean it isn't hard. He told us it will be but only those who don't want to obey think this life we sisters live is a burden. But we are set free from darkness and sin and we keep fighting the good fight of faith until the end!
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:3
They're not grievous, sisters! I know you all say amen! The 'Christians' who think we are in bondage might as well come out and say (and some may)..."let's not obey God anymore". How wicked, as that is all we are striving to do...obey Him. They seem to think Jesus did it all for us. Last I recall Jesus Himself said go sin no more and that even thoughts were sin. Yes sisters we indeed have been called to a holy life so let's not let anyone tell us otherwise! Only workers of satan would do that. But His Word is truth. We just have to go read that if someone tries to say "has God really said you still have to obey?" (and we know they say it in more cryptic and sly ways than that oftentimes). He is so holy and worthy to be lived for!
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
3 John 1:11

Next scripture reading to edify my sisters...

The word of the Lord came again to me, saying,

Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.

Ezekiel 14:12-14

Thank you sister for these scripture pictures...

Praise God for that!

Amen I love that too. He is good and we are seeking Him and His holy ways.

Hold fast sisters and let's all keep loving the Lord our God! I hope all your Titus 2 works go well too. It is a blessing to be godly women as the Lord is pleased with His obedient daughters.

Today's Encouragement (2 August 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

I hope you're strong in the Lord and not growing weary in well doing!

Beautiful morning kitchen window view...

God's mercies are new every day and it's like we get a fresh start isn't it. The day before and any troubles in it are gone (well unless something is ongoing) and we keep looking ahead yet still mostly taking each day as it comes. Jesus said not to worry about tomorrow as there's enough to deal with today didn't He.

I had a cleaning job to do...

Thankful for health and strength to labour in all sorts of good works. It's a great blessing and it could be taken away and we would need to be thankful and content still!

Next scripture reading to edify...

There's a lot in there about 'proof of love'. We know people can say they love either God or people with their lips and maybe do a few little things to make themselves think they love but we want to have godly love first to God which is obedience and to others which is similarly obeying how God says to treat others!

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1 John 3:18

Let us have good and full proof of our love in full obedience to God...from which flows sacrificial love to others especially to the children of God. We love Him as He first loved us! It's all from Him and no man can boast in anything!

Hold fast sisters and let's keep being on guard and crucifying the flesh and overcoming!

Today's Encouragement (1 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're doing great in the Lord on this new day!

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Colossians 1:9-11

I love that! That's a great thing to pray for each other about.

Thank you sister for this...

That's a great scripture to keep in mind...believing goes along with suffering for His sake. But He is so worthy to suffer for.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Philippians 3:10

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 4:13

Next scripture reading to edify you...

Thankful to have His Word again and know the way in which we are to go. We are not left out in the crazy changing world without guidance from above!

Juicy manderin blessings...

And I'd serve you a steaming bowl of cauliflower rice and chicken curry...

God provided daily bread again. He is good to us.

Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Amos 5:14-15

I love that...seek and love the good and hate and don't seek the evil! That's what we are commanded to do all through the pages of His Word.

Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

(Romans 12:9b)

That's what I have to share today sisters. Let's keep being zealous of good works! Hold fast!
