Who Is Blessed, and Peaceful Animal Creations

Greetings sisters!

How was your day in the Lord? And by that I mean that it's been about 24 hours since my last post and I know we may all be in different time zones on the earth but I hope you are going well in the Lord regardless of what day or time it is!

I wanted to share some verses to encourage you sisters! They are on who is blessed. It's definitely worth your own study sometime and I think I will do a greater one on it myself. Hope these verses I shared will encourage you with God's view on who is blessed and not what the world says or even our flesh perhaps if we aren't on guard.

Yes the world may think that the rich in material possessions are blessed. A woman may think she is blessed if she has lots of friends. A woman may think she is blessed if she thinks she looks good. Or if she has a successful career and on and on. You all can think of such things that those who are not followers of Christ live for and what makes them happy and think they have it all.

But we sisters know where the true riches are and our hopes are not on things on this earth. So I share a collection of verses to edify us all!

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

Psalm 1:1-2

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

Matthew 5:6

"But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it."

Luke 11:28

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

John 20:29

"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."

Psalm 32:1-2

Isn't that so encouraging and edifying? Those are just a fraction of all there are on who is blessed in God's Word. I could go on and on in that but those are some to ponder and are certainly uplifting!

And I had a few farm animal pics and videos to share from my day yesterday

Cow grazing peacefully...

And lambs...

Funny seeing lambs just sitting around the place. They are weaned and will be going back to join the flock soon.

"Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."

Isaiah 40:10-11

So very much in scripture about cattle and sheep and such things! And as so many sacrifices for sins too. Praise God for the perfect Lamb of God!

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

John 1:29

One night recently one of the dogs was barking for 2 hours straight in the middle of the night. And it turned out to be at an echidna and it must have made these holes. They eat ants and so dig out the ant nests. Amazing creatures!

Pretty evening light....

And a beautiful winter's day view out of my room window!

And for some Titus 2, the meal tonight...

We're blessed with food and raiment and much more! Let us have grateful humble hearts.

And a scripture picture from a faithful sister...

Praise God for that and all things!

So that's my edification for the day sisters! Lord willing tomorrow I shall be back here.

Stand strong sister saints!

Edification and Little Creations

Good day sisters!

I'm back again another day! And so are you if you are reading this! We know our life is in the hands of God and He is the giver and taker of life. Let us be content and joyous in what His will is for us.

I love this scripture...

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences."

2 Corinthians 5:1-11

Let us labour, sisters, to be acceptable to our great and holy God!

My post started out like that and then I saw some little things in His creation and wanted to share some here in addition. I often have no idea what I can post but there's always something from the Word but we can give the Lord praise for His creation too! I trust in the Lord to give me something to share here with you sisters daily and He is faithful because otherwise I couldn't do it!

An interesting ant hill...

"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest."

Proverbs 6:6-8

Which also reminds me of this verse...

And I love finding the little fungi...

Most of which I saw today.

What great variety God made in His creations! It's more than we can fathom.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Matthew 10:28-31

And heaps of little seeds sprouting up...

"And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred."
Mark 4:20

And moss on a rock...

"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"

Matthew 6:28-30

And interesting flowers growing out of the stem...

Just some interesting little things of His creation that we can marvel at and give Him glory for.

"And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory."
Isaiah 6:3

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Romans 1:20

Thank you sister for that scripture picture and for these scriptures.)

So that's my edification for you today sisters!

"O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together."

Psalm 34:3

5 July 2021

Good day sisters!

How's today for you? I had a busy day with various house work duties mainly but I come here bringing some edification from God's Word. His Words are way better than mine so when some days I don't have many of my own words (which is fine too) I hope the scriptures I share can bless you and give you something to ponder. Depending on what kind of life we live we may have more or less time to ponder things, but we know we should hide His Word in our hearts and obey Him, taking time for His Word and being prepared to answer those who ask us of our hope.

And I share this scripture passage...

"Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise."

Jeremiah 17:5-14

(And thank you sister for blessing me with those three scripture pictures:-)

We are richly blessed to have access to His Word and know the way to eternal life through Christ! Glory to God!

Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow with something to share with you sisters. Strive on in the Lord and His strength and truth!

Love to you in Christ,

Another Day in the Lord

Greetings sisters!

"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

Philippians 4:4-9

Amen sisters! Much to ponder and remind ourselves of in that scripture and examine our own lives to see how we are doing at it all.

I know I've been sharing many rainbows lately. And I don't apologise for that! They are awesome creations from the Father which have a promise and I have been extra blessed to see them lately in my peaceful quiet life. Today I saw yet another one and I made a video for a sister and read from Genesis so I trimmed it down and shared the scripture here. Praise God for His works and promises!

But let us also make sure we are prepared and in peace with God living in fear of Him, obeying His Word so we won't perish.

"Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."
2 Peter 3:6-7

So I share a few more things from my day in the Lord.

Vacuuming my sewing room floor...

Some peaceful and pretty flowers on my evening walk...

And a bird...

And made this vegetable and sausage soup for tea...

A sister added the proverb to my picture...

And sent me this wonderful scripture...

Thank you for your faithfulness in loving the brethren, sister, and for your zeal for the Lord and good works! You're such a blessing and encouragement to me:-)

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

Titus 2:13-14

Well that's some simple things for today sisters! Encouragement for you all to strive on...today! That's been one more day off of our lives and what a blessing to live it for our worthy Saviour!

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

Hebrews 10:22-25

A Simple Life But a Great God

Good day sister saints!

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

Galatians 5:22-2

Amen and praise God we can know the truth and His holy ways!

I was just thinking how I often say about the simple life we may live or some of us at least. And to what is that a comparison to? We know the world is always out seeking more and more of stuff and amusement and money and fame and on and on. But we have been set free from all that. So we may call our quiet lives as godly women simple but it is the best life and one with the greatest riches and promises of a glorious future! We serve a great and almighty God Creator of the universe and so we are immensely blessed with great treasures! And it's good to be free from the unnecessary clutter and distractions that satan has in the world for people to feed their flesh on too. There's so much out there to tempt and allure a soul away from God. So let us sisters rejoice in this simple life we get to live so we can focus on what is most important, Christ and things above! As the Word also reminds us to be content with food and raiment.

So I share a few things I have for today.

I finished my skirt sewing for a customer...

And relaxed, after sewing and cleaning it all up, with a cup of tea...

(Thank you faithful sister saint for all those scripture pictures:-)

Amen, good news of God's Word and of saints striving on in holiness and truth is refreshing! And particularly true in these days when the remnant is scattered on the face of the earth wherever God has them.

"For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;"
3 John 1:3-5

A sister and I were instant messaging today and I was outside and so I sent her this video of a rainbow that appeared for us to share. I can't remember seeing so many rainbows before. So pretty and beautiful creations! And a privilege to share with a sister on the other side of this big earth.

A view out of my room window as the sun was setting with all the water laying around.

You realise how much of a blessing water is that we get more of in winter here when you look back at pictures from the summer and see this...

Water is seemingly so simple but it is so essential. Reminds me of the water of life in the spiritual sense because without physical water life cannot survive. And we would perish too without Christ who is the living water.

"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
Revelation 22:17

And steaming bowls of pumpkin soup for a cold night listening to rain. Cozy!

Again, simple blessings to be thankful for!

OK sisters! That's all from me for today. I had a busy day but yet with simple things in it. Maybe some of you have that kind of a quiet simple life too. And let us be content and rejoice in what we are called to do. It may be a simple life but we have a great God and a blessed and glorious hope set before us if we endure!

"That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."
Hebrews 6:18-20

Godly Sisters, a Living Sacrifice

Greetings for this day sister saints!

How was or is your day going? Mine went well and I'm grateful for rest soon at the end of it.

I was pondering this scripture earlier....

"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:"

2 Corinthians 2:14-15

And thought of us godly women being a sweet savour to God.

"And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

Ephesians 5:2

And remembered that we are to be living sacrifices.

Let us not think that what we are to do as women isn't important as it is doing what the Lord wants from us and we are to be sacrifices for Him and not doing our own ways. It's just our duty really though. We know we are to love God above all else...so who are we to say what we should and shouldn't be doing. In our obedience we are well pleasing to our God...and that's what we want of course.

We know of all the sacrifices in the Old Testament.

"It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord."

Numbers 28:6

Praise God for His Son the perfect Lamb so no one has to sacrifice animals anymore.

So let us sisters be spiritual sacrifices through Christ. May we be obedient unto our calling as women; in our Titus 2 roles, in our meek and quiet spirits, in our biblical dress and headcovering, in our love and kindness and in all the other areas in how we are commanded to live. In so doing we are shining our lights to this lost world glorifying our Father in heaven.

It's a great subject for us to ponder daily in how we are to live to please God and not ourselves, sacrificing our own desires to follow Him in spirit and truth.

"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour."

John 12:25-26

(Thank you sister for that scripture pictures:-)

"But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Hebrews 13:16

So as we go about those things we know we are to be doing as godly women, let's always remember to do them as unto the Lord, as our reasonable service as living sacrifices for Him. He is worthy sisters! Let us rejoice for such an opportunity and strive to walk worthy of Him in all we do!

I got some more skirt sewing done today...

I thought I'd have a change of scenery for a bit so I sat at the window and had a break from other work and worked on this blog. You can see a bird feeding on the flowers, some lambies walk by and some rain and just general peace.

It's a blessing to refresh in God's creation whenever we can. His creation is everywhere and we can look to find it wherever we are no matter if it's in a city or in the wilderness.

I got to see the best rainbow today! I know I've shared rainbows before recently but we can never tire of marvelling at God's creations.

And some Titus 2...

We are blessed with good daily food. May we be grateful for it all and content whether we have little or much.

So I hope you are standing strong in the Lord sisters. And my hope is that my simple blog can edify you in some way too!

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."

Simply Pictures and Scriptures

Greetings in Christ one more day sisters!

I'm back with simple edification for your day from my day and some scriptures from His precious Word!

"Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

John 12:44-50

So I will share some pics from my day. And often our lives as godly women are simple as we go about our business either at home or out in the world. Praise God we are no longer a part of the world or loving the things of this world. We want to love the Father not the world!

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

1 John 2:15-17

Let us sisters do the will of God!

I relocated 2 little frogs to the garden....

Cute little creations!

And saw some hardworking bees...

More dishes washing...

Lots of dry washing from the line...

Got some sewing done...

Made some ricotta cheese...

Cut up pumpkin...

...for soup...

To have with fish and coleslaw...

We are blessed with not only food and raiment but a great variety of good foods. Let's not take all this forgranted but see it as an extra blessing.

"O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Psalm 136:1-4,25-26

So that's just some simple Titus 2 things from my day. You all have similar things to do most likely and maybe seeing them in mine encourages you in yours. We know the world looks down on the biblical position and role of women. And for that matter many claimed Christians do too. Doesn't matter what they think of course but let us rejoice in it because it is pleasing to the Father. We want to obey Him because He has transformed our lives and we don't want our ways or the ways of the world.

Ok time for me to go but Lord willing I will be back tomorrow.

And I leave with this promise Jesus gave to His disciples. Let us follow Him and be His obedient disciples too.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."

John 14:1-4
