Hello again sisters!
It's one more unique day the Lord gave us today! Yes even if we do a lot of the same things, day in and day out, we only get each moment once and it is gone. Reminds us again to be redeeming the time God gave us in good things whatever that may be. There's a time to work and a time to rest too. God made it that way.
Christ has set us free from idleness in that which is vain and sinful. We still need to be careful of how we spend our time to not be caught up in distractions that don't have a good purpose.
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
Titus 3:14
These few verses from Proverbs 31 encourage us also in being diligent and hard working...
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Proverbs 31:13,17,25-27
And yes sometimes we need to just stop and rest in situations that we can. Our bodies are limited and can be weaker at times. God knows this but He also knows what we spend our time on and what we could be doing.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
Psalm 103:13-18
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;2 Corinthians 4:16-17
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
2 Corinthians 5:1-4
Let us press on in these mortal bodies of ours and strive to be found worthy in Christ on that great day of judgment. The Lord is our strength and hope! In Him we can overcome all things! Be strong and of good courage in Him, sisters! Don't grow weary in all your duties He gave you!
Love in Christ.
