Today's Edification (3 May 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Here is another day to serve our great God! I trust all is well with you, and hope so anyway. Not that we won't have trials but we care that other saints remain strong and faithful. So much is at stake. God is worthy of all the glory and of course we know in His hands are rewards, good and bad. But what a blessing we have the opportunity to serve such a great God as ours who is the one and only true and living God, our Creator and Saviour!

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Psalm 95:3-8

And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up: And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
Nehemiah 8:5-6

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:13-14

All good things are from Him including our hope of salvation. May He be praised!

This is a good scripture to remind us to have joy in serving others, following our Lord's good example!

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Matthew 20:25-28

There's so many scriptures about it but of course our Lord gave us the best examples and ultimately laying down His very life for us.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Acts 10:38-43

May we believe on Him, following His commands and enduring unto eternal life. May we overcome with His help!

Keep pressing on where the Lord has you sisters! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.
