Greetings sisters!
I hope you are standing stedfast for the Lord where you are! The Lord is with us wherever He has called us. And we can remain where we are, with God, and He will give us all we need to be able to stand. We must cleave to Him with purpose of heart. We must fight any enemies of our souls, spiritual ones, for we do not fight physically of course. May our faith be strong so we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:1-4
Amen, His commands are not grievous are they sisters.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Matthew 11:28-30
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.Jeremiah 6:16
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.Hebrews 4:11
We can find peace with God and freedom from a guilty conscience. Praise God that all our past sins can be forgiven and we can be free of the guilt, washed in the blood of Christ!
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Colossians 1:21-23
Yes let us continue in the faith of Christ. It is faith and not sight...we do not see or feel or hear but God will reward the faithful who press on! One day we shall see Him as He is! But we will only get there if we overcome in faith. May we have strong faith in our Lord, trusting and not being unbelieving and fearful and doubting.
