Greetings sister saints!
I am dropping in again after a busy day to share some edifying with you! I hope you're holding fast in the Lord our God. He is worthy! Let us worship Him in the beauty of holiness!
His Word speaks the truth and it's good to ponder that this is how it is in people's hearts today...
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Matthew 13:18-23
I heard John 15 today about the Lord pruning us so we may bring forth more fruit. We know fruit glorifies Him!
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit...Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.John 15:2,8
How can we have more good fruit in our lives? It's just good to examine our lives to see how we're doing. And yes we must keep our eyes on Him and all He has done, trusting in His blood for our forgiveness. Indeed by grace we are saved through faith. And furthermore we are His workmanship before ordained to walk in good works!
Let us keep cleaving to the Lord our God with purpose of heart! Yes we know true faith is a lot of actions so press forwards my sisters! Lord willing I will drop in again tomorrow here. I'm thankful the Lord is giving me plenty of things to keep occupied in. Let us keep being faithful in all things for His glory. Love to you in the faith.
