For by faith in our Saviour we have great hope! Hope of salvation to come! Hope of eternity with God and not to be cast away into an horrible place. Let us hope and trust and rest in Christ for our salvation. But let us keep in memory that we also have our part as God's promises surely have conditions to them.
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5
We have a charge to keep so the word of God is not blasphemed, which we may do when when we are out of order and disobedient. But we adorn His doctrine and glorify His name when we live orderly according to His Word. Let's keep striving in that, doing our best and also continuing to search the scriptures and examine our lives to see if we haven't strayed.
