Today's Edification (18 March 2025)

Hello sisters!

I hope this finds you well again wherever you are where the Lord has called you!

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
1 Corinthians 7:20

Let us be content with what life the Lord has given us!

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Hebrews 13:5-6

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:11-13

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

1 Timothy 6:6-8

We know that being content pleases the Lord! We know what He thinks of grumbling and complaining. Let us be thankful! We have so much in the Lord!

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

We sure want to do the will of God don't we!

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 10:36

I was thinking of the love of God and it is a precious gift He has for His saints. We know He loved the world in Christ, yet His anger is upon those who are not in Christ, yet He is merciful to all in giving sunshine, rain, and food and such. We know it is wise to fear Him but His love is also precious. We can only love Him and others because He first loved us. Surely He is before all things and all is for His glory and nothing good is from man. True love always leads to actions so He sent His beloved Son out of that love. It was not words alone just as our love is not to be in word but in actions and truth.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1 John 3:18-19

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:7-11

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14

So keep pressing on in the faith my sisters! Don't grow weary in any well doing! Love to you in His name. Be of good courage!
