Greetings sisters!
I'm back again as the Lord allowed! I trust you're striving on! Each day we have life and breath as the Lord allows. We need Him so much don't we physically and spiritually. In Him we live and move and have our being.
This first verse comes to mind a lot for me...
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:19-22
It's a comfort that God knows His own, few though they be, out of the billions of people who are not His. And it's simple...that everyone who names His name depart from sin. That message is all through the Word isn't it.
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:1 Peter 1:17
Indeed we are to pass the time as we are pilgrims and strangers here in fear as the Father will certainly judge everyone according to their works. This is wisdom and truth. May we heed it.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:1 Peter 1:13-14
This life is surely one to take with seriousness of mind. We must endure and hope to the end.
Keep pressing on by faith sisters. Remember this...
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.John 20:29
Indeed we have not seen and do not see but we believe. We walk by faith not sight while we are absent from the Lord. Keep fighting the good fight of faith and holding up the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked! Our faith overcomes the world! Be strong in faith sisters!
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.1 John 5:4
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.Hebrews 11:6
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.Romans 5:1-2
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.Jude 1:20-21
Strive on in the holy faith sisters. Mercy, love, and peace to you in His name.
