Greetings sisters!
God granted another day for us to live for Him! May we go forth in our day in thankfulness for His goodness and mercy and yet remembering His severity.
I'm thankful for what is written....
These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.1 Timothy 3:14-15
It is a blessing to know how we are to behave as His people! All the true saints around the world are the household of God!
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:19-22
We know we worship in spirit and in truth! We do not need a building anymore like they had the temple as indeed the heaven of heavens cannot contain our great God! He made it all! And He is a Spirit.
And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?
2 Chronicles 2:5-6
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:21-24
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Good scriptures to ponder on our great God and indeed remind us that we walk by faith and are no longer under the old testament of many physical ceremonies and laws.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Galatians 2:16
It is time for a picture catch up post! Just various things from my last week or so of His creations and some of what I've been up to I guess! Peaceful and good things.
And it's a blessing to sit with a cup of tea after working and refresh sometimes! It is good to enjoy all the blessings the Lord has given us. No not to get completely comfortable on this earth and we never can as that would involve being friends with the world but just being thankful to God for all good things in our lives. We can focus on those and not the trials or things we would rather have differently. Every truly good things is from above!

And we also do washing clothes and sewing them too! Simple yet so important yet not always easy and it can take a good amount of time. But in Christ we have been set free from useless things that waste time and more importantly things that displease the Lord our holy God.But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.1 Timothy 6:6-8

I've been so busy sewing this week. About lost count of how many shirts I've been working on but I think six.
And waiting for buttons to come in the mail to finish three more...
I worked on a new skirt project which seemed to have worked out well, so hope to be making more soon Lord willing!
I wanted to learn to make some skirts with a smooth waistband as some thicker fabrics can be uncomfortable in elastic or drawstrings. And I prefer sewing buttons over zips at this stage so look forward to making more in any size and thankful for anything that doesn't need a pattern, just a bit of math though. And I hope to be adding pockets to most all of my skirts going forwards.
Even though sunsets happen every day some are more unique than others. We get 365 each year to look at and sunrises too!
That was just before a big thunderstorm came through and I was going to shut away a dog before the storm as I was looking after all the animals at the time. So vast a creation He made indeed! Glory to His name for all good things!
Well that's all for this catchup post and Lord willing I will keep edifying you daily from the Word here! Keep holding fast to sound doctrine sisters. It's astounding all the false beliefs of every kind out there, so may we read and study and meditate on His Word and not man's ideas. How wrong we could go following after human ideas. We are to listen to His Son! May we not allow ourselves to be led astray. Prove all things sisters. Cleave to that which is good!
