Salutations to my sisters!

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:21

I welcome and warmly greet my sisters here, with a holy hug and love:-) Hope you're all striving on after the Lord on the narrow road!

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
1 Thessalonians 4:9

Nothing more important than loving God and others.

I was reading in Acts and pondering on the different ways Paul addressed the Jews...

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Acts 17:2-3

to how he did the pagans...

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 17:22-31

Of course we can learn from it ourselves in however we get to share truth with people.

I was pondering on evil reports and what they are.

By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
2 Corinthians 6:8
Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Exodus 23:1

Half truth's about people and certainly completely false statements surely count as that. If we share that someone sinned and leave people thinking they never saw it and grieved over and stopped doing it, that surely isn't the whole truth is it.

Let us rejoice in the Lord's cleansing and that He knows all the truth about us...the bad and the good and if we repent there is joy in heaven! Glory to God! There is hope in Him and we do NOT have to have those past failures of ours on our account as still against us! Press on in that joyous hope and freedom sisters! We are not held back by our past or to be looking back. Look forwards sisters...to our glorious Saviour! We need more focus on Him and less on us and our weaknesses. He is a powerful Saviour to help us overcome!

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 Timothy 2:5
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1 John 2:1

God is good! We are blessed in Him!

Sisters, if you know of any one who has been born from above who went from evil to completely good in a short time and never had any or many issues to work out and sins to learn about and flesh to fight...I'd love to know! I don't know of anyone so I'm think they don't exist? I think we in Christ all are in the same situation of needing to grow and that being an on going lifelong process. I'm not talking about knowing something is a sin and still doing it willfully but walking out the faith life learning and seeing things more deeply over time and through experiences good and bad. Why are there so many commandments for us to act if it's all done by the Spirit? Why are we commanded to grow if it's all done the moment we were born of Him? Test all things sisters and be not discouraged and keep on in well doing!

Of course there's things that you can stop in an instant...like it doesn't take long to stop practicing pagan and uncommanded ways like Christmas and Easter and stop going to the corrupt church system of our day and listening to false teaching. It doesn't take long to stop not covering our heads or wearing makeup or jewelry or adorning our temples with clothing. It doesn't take long to smash a television and throw away music and movies and unbiblical books etc. and many such things but there's other things we will work on overtime and as they come up day by day.

Let's be encouraged by the Word to keep growing and abounding more and more!

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 4:15

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
Philippians 1:9

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1 Peter 2:2

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
1 Thessalonians 4:1

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
1 Thessalonians 3:12

Here's a quick video to remind us to serve with joy...

It's good to keep testing how we're going at it and good when we see an area or more to improve in so we can aim to be perfect servants...to the Lord and to others.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Hebrews 12:28

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Galatians 5:13

Let's serve God with joy and serve others with joy!

Let's not be like this...

Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
Deuteronomy 28:47

Like this...

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Psalm 100:2

Press on sisters! The reward is great ahead if we endure!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
