Hello sisters!
God gave me another day on this earth so I am back! I hope you are holding fast wherever the Lord has you!
I love thinking about striving for that which is incorruptible and not that which is corruptible like I used to.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
1 Corinthians 9:25
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1 Corinthians 15:52-53
Most all that we know on this earth are things that do not last...corruptible things. But we sisters are seeking incorruptible eternal things!
Today I start my long journey back to my home country. Wherever we sisters go on this earth, the Lord has work for us to do, amen! For immigration reasons I couldn't stay in Canada, but the Lord has a plan for us and work before us as we labour in His harvest.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Matthew 9:37-38
As I type this sitting in an airport, I see masses of people. Made me think of the harvest and how a very small portion of it is the wheat (we saints) and the rest is chaff.
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Matthew 3:12
We want none to perish just as the Lord doesn't. But we know few will be saved.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Luke 13:24-29
Let us strive to enter sisters! May our whole lives be surrendered to His service!
