Greetings sisters!
God gave another day! It's been a busy and fruitful one here with Titus 2 and gospel works being done. It is a blessing to labour in that which is eternal and not that which is fruitless or what the Lord will burn up in the end.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2 Peter 3:10-11
Let us sisters only treasure that which is eternal and strive to live holy lives for our Lord.

Today I met a woman who was standing along my path on my walk to the post office. I tried to offer her a gospel card but she wasn't too happy about it. She was mad about religion as she had been hurt by it but I tried offering her the true way anyway. Reminds me of this scripture though...
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2 Peter 2:1-3
Even though we are not part of vilely corrupt man made religion, we can't help people lumping us into that category, misjudging us. But we can do our part to show a better way and God knows the truth. You can't help people if they don't want it. God's pure truth stays the same no matter what wicked men do who claim to be of Him. Everyone will still be responsible for themselves but woe to those who cause others to stumble. We do not want to be that do we sisters.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Matthew 18:6-7
Let us keep striving to be blameless for the Lord's glory. We must represent His holy ways as we walk in them.
I hope all my sisters are enduring whatever the Lord has for you, with joy! Hold fast and let's set our faces like flint to follow after the Lord our God!
For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7
