Greetings sisters!
Hope you are overcoming in the Lord on this day!
I read this today...
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
Ephesians 5:1-4
'Not once named'...yeah that's that high calling we have isn't it. We don't want to bring reproach on His name by those or any other sins do we.
And that's awesome too to be followers of God as His dear children and walk in love as Christ has loved us! He is such a good God! But we also know to fear Him too as if we are disobedient we know His just wrath will be waiting for us.
Next scripture reading for you...
That's another awesome one for sure. Praise God for how He called Paul into the ministry and how he become a faithful hard worker in the gospel suffering many things.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:12-17
I love that! It's a most joyous thing when someone repents and comes to the truth!
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Luke 15:10
And I know a few saints who have repented and we rejoice in new life that we have! And we keep repenting whenever we need to of course. It's not a once off thing we did long ago and don't have to anymore like so many seem to believe.
Pretty flower creations a sister shared....
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
Song of Solomon 2:11-12
What an amazing Creator made those!
This was my kitchen window view while I was cooking this evening...
Was so peaceful and beautiful.
Blessings from the garden...
Lol those onions need using! Thankful they lasted quite a few months from harvesting back in January. God provides!
Well that's what I have to share on this day. Keep pressing on sisters no matter what! It will be worth it all and He is worthy of it all!
Much love to you all,
Sister Chayil
