Hello sister saints, daughters of the Most high God!
I'm back briefly sharing a little edification in the Lord!
I was thinking about the fact we see in some people who claim Christ that there is that lack of death to self and there's very much still life in their own flesh and self.
But...
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Galatians 5:24
I was also reading this scripture and thinking about the high standard we as God's people today are to have as well.
For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.
Lamentations 4:6
God is good to show us so many examples of what happened to those who sinned. And we take heed.
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
2 Peter 2:6
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:10-12
Just a reminder for us all to take this life following after Christ seriously as godly women and not let us get deceived by all the false easy believe false Christianity all over today! Hold fast sister saints! God still hates sin!
