Hello sister saints!
Are you strong in the Lord today? I hope so as we remember satan as the roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. We don't want to be weakened to make that easier for him. Nor do we want to be deceived by him looking like an angel of light either. Be on guard!
Pretty morning it was here...
Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.Luke 10:38-42
I thought of this scripture when I went looking in the garden for ripe tomatoes to pick and found none...
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
Matthew 21:19
We don't want to be unfruitful do we sisters!
Thank you sisters for sharing scriptures today...
I love those! What a mighty eternal God we serve and He is over everything and one day He alone will be exalted! And today we want Him to be exalted in our own lives and so we kill pride and want to be lowly servants magnifying and increasing Him as we decrease.
And it's a great blessing to edify each other daily isn't it sisters. And we also need to fully rely on the Lord for all we need. But let's treasure what we have today of being able to communicate as we are not all cut off.
Well that's my encouragement for you today. Hold fast to the truth sisters and don't let one thing in this world move you from your course of following after our Saviour!
For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7
