Hope you're strong in the Lord today!
Thank you sister for that scripture picture above. Right we know that is true dont we and in Christ's body we are to be of one mind. It would only be sin and the flesh that would mar this wouldn't it. And that's not what we sisters are striving for. We are striving for being of one mind in the Lord through His Word and Spirit.
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Corinthians 1:10
I love that...full of goodness! And also able to admonish one another.And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14
I was working on a new skirt project today. Learning how to sew one with an elastic back and flat front waistband. Seemed to work well and so maybe more sewing coming up in that way.
And right I might be sharing a lot of sewing lately...but that's just my days and we sisters share glimpses into our lives. And as some of us sisters have talked about before...even if it is the same things over and over it is our good works we are doing and we aren't running around out in the world being rebellious. So that's a good thing then and yes our lives do have some pretty simple things in and repetitious things too. But God is glorified in our patient endurance and obedience in our roles isn't He! Strive on sisters!
The sun sets on my day and goes around to waken up more saints on the other side of the world for another day to serve the Lord!
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.1 Corinthians 15:57-58
Hold fast sisters...and let's all keep labouring for this glorious Saviour we serve! It is work that is not in vain!
