Today's Encouragement (7 March 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm back for a bit here dropping in with some scriptures and some love for my sisters who are striving on in the Lord and truly have Him as their first love.

I was pondering on this scripture...

...about our hearts being comforted and knit together in love. That's interesting and we know God's people are to have fervent love one to another. We see how highly God places love in His Word and that everything comes from that. If we think about it many sins simply come from not loving our neighbor as should be done. But of course they are sins against God most of all.

Here's another verse where we see the word knit...

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

1 Samuel 18:1

I like this one too...

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

Colossians 2:19

...about the body of Christ being knit together and we know this too...

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:15-16

How amazing is Christ's body...His true set apart faithful saints. It is to work together as everyone has been set where God has them and we all have different abilities and gifts but all are working together to edify.

Well that's some simple encouragement for you! I must go now. There's many good works we all have to be occupied in isn't there.

In fact I was thinking about this earlier...

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 16:49

All those sins that Sodom had which God destroyed. Abundance of idleness...that's not what we want to have! In fact, here...

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:27

That's what we want to be like...not being idle. I know a few of you sisters and you're anything but idle! Praise God! And I praise you holy hard working sisters! I know there's many who claim Christ who are occupied in many things but they still are not good, pure, and true things. But we sisters want to be diligent in every good work...not bad or evil or impure or unholy or time wasting work. We are not our own and we live to please a holy God!

Hold fast sisters and Lord willing I will be back tomorrow. Hope you are too! Stand strong sister soldiers!

Love to you in the Lord,

Sister Michaela
