Today's Encouragement (19 February 2022)

Hello sisters!

A new day is here...one more day to live it for the Lord, and not for ourselves or the world which would be serving satan really.

What a great God of hope and comfort we serve. He is not one of destruction...unless we refuse to yield to Him and obey. Let's keep pressing on!

I read some scriptures to edify us sisters here...

Our God is our strength and hope and comfort and joy in this life. Our full trust must be in Him and not in man. It's an added blessing if we have saints to support us and encourage us on as we support them too...but one day it may be only us and God alone.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Philippians 1:29

Believing on Christ plus suffering for Him...always go together don't they.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 14:22

All the things of this life are only for a season...

And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Luke 20:34-36

...accounted worthy...is that us sisters? Let us strive to walk worthy of God and this calling we have in Christ! What hope to come if we endure! It also reminds me of the temporary nature of this physical life...and how we are preparing for the future first of all and glorifying God along the way and making His truth known. We're preparing for the marriage of the Lamb. That is a very special time to be preparing for.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Revelation 19:7-9

May we be living for the Lamb faithful to Him each day. And if someone asks us why we won't do something (sinful or time wasting etc)...we can perhaps say we're busy getting ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb. Because we are. And that's so important to be preparing for.

We know few will find this narrow road...but there will be a great multitude from over the years and over the wide world all gathering home with the Lord!

It's not easy this life...but let's keep fighting to be strong soldiers in this battle.

What blessings God provides us...

What a great sight! We may take food for granted because we can usually have it whenever we want. So let's be thankful every day and try to remember never to be forgetful as it comes from God.

It's this time of year again here...

Much work to be done but I love it.

And chickens get a feast of the scraps too...

Many more pears to come yet...

A very fruitful tree...what a blessing. And it's a joy to store it away for future use and sustaining us physically.

Yes more tomato pictures...but they're pretty and great blessings also...

(If you like, you can find my Facebook page here with more good and godly encouragement for sisters being posted. But you can only see those with a fb account yourself I believe.)

(Thank you sister for adding the scripture.) And yes we know the Lord still cares for His people and leads and guides them.

I must go now sisters...and finish off my work for the day. Hope yours goes well in the Lord and you're trusting in Him through all things the easier times and the darkest ones.

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Philippians 1:27

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
