Pear (or Apple) Crumble

Hello Titus 2 sisters!

I have another recipe to post here today.

This one I made up the amounts on the spot to post here but it worked and was yum so I'm going with it. (I think I'll make it again soon just to make sure it works out again:-)

This is quite a large recipe which could serve around ten people.

2 cups oats

1 1/2 desiccated coconut

2 cups almond meal/flour (or regular flour)

1 cup coconut sugar (or any type dry sugar)

1 Tbs cinnamon

1 1/2 cup (375g) butter, melted

About 12-15 Pears (or apples, or even peaches or apricots)

Mix together dry ingredients...

Then add melted butter.

Peel and cut pears...

...into slices or cubes. Put into a large baking dish. Can sprinkle with extra cinnamon...

Spread crumble mixture on top of pears...

And bake in a moderate oven 180C/370F until golden and pears are cooked...

Serve plain or with custard, cream or ice cream etc.

More good foods the Lord provides. How much more do we have above simple food (bread and water). May we be thankful for it all. Praise God!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
