More Edifying Scriptures and Thoughts

Greetings sisters!

How are you all? Trusting in the Lord in all things?

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

Amen sisters and that's what we are to all seek to do isn't it. As godly women we know we need to do many things on this earth in order to live, cook and clean and such things, but we do them unto the Lord and in the manner He has said we are to do them. We no longer go seeking after our own lusts and fulfilling the desires of our flesh. Praise God to be set free from all that! While we do these things that must be done we can still have our focus set on things above. While we're here below we want to obey God and do His will.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21

Think of this sisters...

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:26

All of us humans have a destination we are headed to. And that has huge and serious differences between the two. People don't seem to want to think about it do they. Or they go on living as if they'll think about it later...when it will be too late. There is only heaven and hell...nothing in between. We are either a child of God born of His Spirit by the gospel or not. We can see by a person's fruit and life what they really are.

Many who claim to be Christ's don't seem to want to do this...

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

2 Corinthians 13:5

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

But I know personally some of you sisters who constantly are doing so and it's so refreshing to see those who are alive from the dead in Christ!

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:5

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:13

What a precious thing indeed! That is a big deal...being alive from the dead! And therefore God, loving and obeying Him, is our one desire. He is holy and righteous and He commands us to be too. That we do know and want to do because we love Him. We don't be swayed by deceivers who say otherwise...we listen to God!

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 14:23-24

Lots of pretty bugs on the flowers...

And a pumpkin harvest-to-be...Lord willing.

A nice big onion...

Tomato blessings coming...

And a delicious simple lunch...

God is good to provide us sisters with so many blessings. Too many to count! There is no doubt we are the richest on earth! We have true riches in Christ and stored up in heaven!

The sun sets on my day...

Beautiful creations God made in the beginning and they are still doing what they were created to do.

A dear sister sent me this scripture today in her night...

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

 Philippians 1:2-6

Amen I love that and it means so much to have sisters who care. May the Lord reward His faithful children who love Him and His saints.

Thankyou sister for this picture also....

Amen let us magnify Him! May He be glorified by our life and by our lights shining. We get all we have from Him! We are not worthy but we always aim to walk worthy of such a precious Saviour!

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

That's what I have for encouragment and edification for today sisters! Hold fast!

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela
